  1. I did not watch the video but I have a question. Why would Russia need to annex Belarus if they seem to get everything they want without the drawback of having to govern it? I think Russia has enough stuff of their own to worry about (not including Ukraine) so why take another place on? If the soviets did not want to govern Mongolia nor independent nations of eastern Europe why would Russia want Belarus?
