@halycon404 Those companies what to make a profit with fewer issues. But lets be real which business person is not like that?

@halycon404 Well not sure why CA and some places have so many rules about companies. I don't agree because if they can't make a profit there will be few who want to be involved with the business. Plus like with so many things those with excess money will just pay more for what they need. And they will try and extract money from elsewhere if they can but I don't think many people in their position would not at least consider doing similar....

@kennetzel6101 Well not so sure why the rates in prone places are not just higher to offset the like hood of floods, hurricanes, tornadoes? My auto insurance is very cheap but truth is if the insurance wrote me and said we have more cost can we charge you a little more I don't see any reason to say no because increases have been just a small amount so far.

@thehighllama8101 Only when they had an extra car that was the same. But I have been lucky to hit that lottery twice. Next time I will likely not.

@mjblue84 This has been going on for about 40 years at the minimum at this point. If they don't know yet they should know by now.

Well that means is just cost more everywhere to get it. I guess the question is if it is affordable to pay it?

How is it people can't get car insurance? They don't have multiple places to choose from?

Well the rates to do both might just end up being super high..... Companies don't mind offering services at rates that make them a profit but at too low a rate how can they hope to even break even?

@halycon404 Well you seem to know your stuff.... Where ever they are not making a profit might prompt them to then wine about not making more elsewhere.... I can't say either way because I thought they made a profit everywhere...

@halycon404 Really my rate in VA is only a little more I think about $20 or $40. If you had not written I would never have noticed that small an increase.
