@travisabbott7373 You do realize with the exception of certain industries the incomes there must be super poor. Then where are you going to find non poor renters able to pay the rent? Housing in my area tends to shadow incomes so the cheaper the house the fewer good income opportunities normally.
8
People on YouTube with that income range are almost all highly trained specialist or business owners. The percentage of the entire population that make 150K each year is less than 20%.
3
Yeah all the basics have gotten way more expensive!!!!
3
No even if I tell you the math you income side of the equation has to be worked on. No income even using math will not create income!!
2
Social Security only offers some people 1K checks so if most have accounts producing 6% with 250K their yearly payments will be similar.
2
@TheTrueHardcorefr3k Dude they were working poor but worked together!!! Not saying they did not make right choices but making 115K assuming they live cheap mean they have plenty of options and they out earn the majority of 4 people families.
2
I would focus on increasing my income so I can just get paid more. I personally have found getting paid more without additional expenses will leave me rich compared to my needs.
2
Pre-tax at 10% that sounds about right!
2
Well if most people are buying everything at less than they have the resources for than they would have a shot. However many are at or near their maximum prices so yeah those people are in trouble for all the reasons previously mentioned. The richer people have incomes or cash reserves large enough they can outbid many others so yeah they have it way easier. I can't speak to why people don't have an 1K emergency fund nor 6 months (I only need 10K for 6 months) but if your right that is a really bad sign.
2
Crazy argument. Think of it this way everyone can't even pay their rent each month and Starbucks cost 2K a year is not the reason because the rent for the majority of people cost more than 2K each year!!!!
2
@charlesg7926 Yep I was waiting for the second paragraph because it explains people and real estate. Also cash generating assets tend to make people rich over time but people like Jaspree are very good at certain aspects.
2
Yeah no one want to tell you need a good paying job or almost no expenses or just exploit others for profit. I say people like him have had to do a combination of all 3 in order to run a profitable business.
2
You do realize that at that income the expectation is that you get a better job by saving what you can and getting loans or grants for skilled employment. I wish we could just buy jobs instead of buying skills. For me games work very differently than real life. Your quote: (How can I be rich working for 8$ hour)
1
Strange he takes full advantage of broker people by offering them housing that benefits him over years while leaving them broke because they don't make much money off the process BUT then tells the rest of us "Don't Take Advice From BROKE PEOPLE" HOW CAN ANYONE BELIEVE THAT IF HE USES BROKE PEOPLE WHY WUOLD WE LISTEN TO HIM? I don't exploit the poor and then tell the poor not to listen to each other.... I say listen to everyone and take what you can from them all....
1
Yes but there are extra fees with condos in my area. How do you not own nor rent? I rent cheep but I got very lucky.
1
@notanotherone5564 Youtube people ignore the rules because they are already unusual (in their outcomes). Most people need to learn something specific to make living wages!!!! I am only where I am because of luck (had jobs during Great Recession and COVID making more than I spent each year since.) Your quote: (Anecdotal evidence doesn’t represent the whole picture. Unfortunately most people without post-secondary education earn less than their graduate counterparts long term when evaluating the median.)
1
@kflo8634 Wait but at 35 you should be in much better shape to use what you learn here than you were at 15!!! I would rather be old with a ok job learning the right stuff than young with no or very low paying job. Without money, experience, luck etc I could never have done as well then than now. Maybe I don't understand your statement. Your quote: (Thats why I'm here, I'm trying to learn at age 35. I wish I learned this knowledge 15 years ago.)
1
@Roberto Vidal Garcia You know the problem is soo many people are after the money and not out to teach based on solid info. For many not producing content means they don't get paid so I think you see the problem. Your quote: (It’s not that much better, most of the information is garbage so you still have to seek out and dig out the good info. Back in the day you would have to go find a book in a library that was probably written by someone with solid credentials.)
1
@handleyobusiness Well they will likely just be less poor but still quite poor. Saving, investing, and avoiding debt all help BUT which business do you know of that does not operate on loans?
1
You outpace expenses period. You not there because you did not "waste money".....
1
Super smart answer but for real people who benefit from having renters only can about keeping the richer ones!!!
1
Your right it is not. They always say to start there which is total B.S. You have to be there to do stuff.
1
You don't think the banks are more worried about collecting on the loans they have outstanding? In the past my biggest fear with all my borrowers is they fully default on their loans. My next biggest fear with my former renters is that they don't pay 80% of their rent bills. Your quote: (Banks are only worried because they have slowed loans.)
1
Hey anyone else see Jasprei’s photo on any other video that was not a part of minority mindset?
1
No being cheap is not bad but it might be an issue if one is too impractical. But I think the same for people with lifestyle cost issue. At some point we have to buy some thing by default so....
1
He bought during the Great Recession and it is obvious because he thinks buying and renting is simple. If people make more and more over time yes renting is profitable since you bought it for cheap and could increase your rent and people paid. I know because my renters were paying and then stopped and it got super stressful because they decided they should have access without cash payment.
1
I made my first 20K cash extra by 2012 so renting works but the renters need to be hood rich!!
1
Wow I knew it was not only me. A little over 10 years ago I saved by first 20K but it took me more that twice as long for the next almost 20K (19K)!!!! I think purchasing power has fallen despite your increase in wages.
1
@jessehamilton4223 Yeah I agree meat does not last forever unless frozen.
1
@churchofpos2279 Well that all depends!!!
1
Yeah I dislike his argument because it is not likely what he did with his first $100's. He could not own if he just invested money unless he invested in his own stuff!!!! F THAT MAN TELL THE TURTH ABOUT WHAT YOUR FOCUS REALLY IS IMO!!!
1
Well there are plenty of career paths that will leave people poor!!! Managing money is not more important than being able to generate money!!! If you can't generate money what do you have to manage. Your quote: (You have to have a head for business. Know how to manage money no matter what career path you chose.)
1
See I like your thinking!!! Your right it would be very expensive. Only problem is that it will get worst faster because who would buy and goods and services? Right now there are lots of people buying stuff that brings them no long term benefit which is really good for everyone just not them.
1
He like most are looking for views from the poor otherwise they would be talking numbers that they know are realistic. If they own or run a business they should know better either way.
1
Right and someone like him makes money off their stuff so he can buy cash after some time. He has no problem owing housing and charging people enough to make him money which means he should understand the issue with customers that don't make other companies rich over time. Doubt he plans on selling his housing stuff for break even or less than brake even while telling other people debt is an issue. Like no ones ability to service debt is the problem not having debts..... There are always people needing housing and as owner he holds an advantage..... WTF he should say if one can service their bills even debt is not an issue.
1
I suspect many of these bigger YouTubers are owners who want to always be able to find renters so they don't suggest owning to improve their odds.
1
Even offering people a good deal on rent is not enough to get them to pay for it. My renters only had to come up with 135$ per person each per month. They could not even do that and to me that price sounds super cheap.
1
Yeah but the internet people don't want to talk the obvious!!!!
1
CAREFUL HE IS TRYING TO SUGGEST BEHAVIOR NOT MATH MATTERS!!! WELL JUST ASK YOURSELF HOW OFTEN WHEN PEOPLE SHOWED UP WITH RIGHT BEHAVIORS AND NO MONEY DOES HE DO STUFF FOR THEM? Odds are very rarely!!!
1
But with a million in investments returning 40K a year you should be able to pay for cheap rents for almost forever. BUT I suspect you may have to settle for worst parts of town. Your quote: (By the time I get $1 million in my bank account the house price will go from 500k to 2million ...)
1
Talking people into buying from you is not simple at all!!
1
@EatDatButt445 sometimes failure is a sign someone can’t do something they should or need to be able to do. I never like to see people fail.
1
@Gonzo_Bubb Well what else was he going to do? If he has few qualifications for other jobs beside the dangerous ones he could probably not survive if he makes too little. If he wants a better job with fewer hazards without luck and connections how would he ever get it? For many of us becoming a specialist will not prove to be cheap either!!! Your quote: (Don't make it sound so good man, there is a trade off, long hours, sacrifice of your body, dangerous work conditions, exposure to chemicals, etc.)
1
No taxes are used to find programs and the government will also print more money......
1
@Someguy35167 That depends on what he does/ does not do.
1
Seriously if your broke you have to spend all your time working don't you?
1
It depends on your objectives. I just want a real job and I don't need a wife nor kids. The wife will do whatever she wants and a kid will become my boss. I don't think I will live into my 60's or 70's but becoming a millionaire then is an interesting idea. Your quote: (This is cool for some one who wants to provide generational wealth. But as a 30 year old with no chance for a wife or children, why should I save to be a millionaire in my 60s or 70s?)
1
He is for sure gathering. If he owned an apartment complex he gather the money from the renters because we all know when he ran his other business he would let one person in for free while gathering money from those they brough with them!!!!! WTF he was likely also part of a creator agency so he for sure was using it to gather more dollars from sponsors than he would likely get without them advocating for him... He is sharing while profiting from doing so at this point!!!
1
Yeah but how easy is it to find cheap housing and cheap cars that don't require much maintenance? Vs. how much easier is it to hate on coffee?
1
I think he had a family so I suspect he had income from else where. I can't even take care of myself each month making 1,200$ a month so there is no way he took care of a family making that little. Another guy has 500K and only made 20K max each year but he also had a family. I think these people have income from other sources because after 12 years I only have 39K making similar and even if I invited every dollar I would have a max of 156K in my 60's. Your quote: (The guy made $10 per hour. How awesome is that! If it’s the same custodian.)
