@CluelessPanther So exactly how is someone supposed to get a newer or low mileage car without payments if they don't have the cash? I have bought plenty of 100K+ cars and by far my best car so far had 55K miles and cost 16K!!!

Wait insurance companies were always in the business of risk management and payment minimization. There are reasons to do that type of stuff but I always say ask any business that deals with physical products and see if they to don't use "risk management and payment minimization."

The figures presented are quite astonishing and ridiculous! The amounts listed for necessary expenditures seem excessive. Age 30: $30K Age 40: $125K Age 50: $328K Age 60: $744K Age 65: $1 million If these were the average savings, concerns such as student loans, housing costs, and inflation might be less pressing, as people could have assets to liquidate. It would be more practical to display numbers that reflect the current economic reality.

What we have to buy or rent. Housing is not a problem because it does not work because someone is always going o buy at a bad time. We can't know the future but we can go our best in the mean time.

WELL THEN THERE ARE TAXES: See this is the problem with not having more/ higher taxes $600 can not beat $1,600 so how TF are they supposed to do more with fewer dollars when it literally cost more to do all the same things? I know this because when I lived alone I literally outspent EVERYONE do to the math difference!!!!

@LaborGains People don't want to just not buy if they don't have cash. Major purchases education, housing, and even some big bills like cars can't work if people don't borrow for them.
