You know, I am far from a Ben Shapiro fan. But this interviewer was indeed badly motivated and a poor sport.

@ohsnapsonbro4260 That doesn't make any sense. If that's "just the way he is," then by definition he's a bad sport. Maybe you meant to say something different?

@likeitout I think where the interview went bad is about 13:00. Shapiro was being honest and admitting to a laundry list of horrible things he's said in the past; and to please move on to his more current perspectives. Instead, and at that exact moment, Neil does exactly what a poor sport would do, which is to through MORE out of date quotes at him. That said, I also admit that Shapiro was very defensive, a bit like Sam Harris, not the greatest sport at accepting criticism either.

@likeitout Personally, I don't learn anything interesting when someone ADMITS they have made youthful mistakes, and, why don't we move on to their more current views? To each his own.

Shapiro is not my favorite. But for goodness sakes you see no basic distinction between Fuentes and Trump versus Shapiro? The former are indeed frauds. Shapiro does not think or promote criminality, does he? So yes, you probably are the only one.
