The Soon-Yi relationship was deplorable, but not so sure it qualifies as child sexual abuse, as she was said to be about 21 at the time it started. But in a broader context, it might be said anything so inappropriate as this could be considered abuse. But that said, a very big distinction between 21 year old consent, and 7-year old rape.

Maybe not certifiably sick, but deplorable, as Cathy Young states in her most balanced articles. The relationship was devastating to Mia. That alone makes it deplorable.

@gregpoore2757 What Mia may or may not have done to Dylan is irrelevant to whether the Woody- Soon-Yi relationship is appropriate or worse. I realize people are human, but in his new book Woody states he sees no moral dilemmas with with this. And that says to me rather unequivocally Woody has some basic problems with moral boundaries. Even Moses stated what his father did was wrong. It caused exreme pain to Mia and roiled up the whole family. I can forgive him because we are all human; but it doesn't make what he did OK. Just my thoughts. As to Mia, I am perfectly aware of the many allegations against her and have no doubt they could well be true. So not saying she's necessarily any better.

@gregpoore2757 I get you! And I agree sometimes people should just let go of others' mistakes. It's been 28 years for goodness sake. So I agree with you.
