Bill Demich: I agree that we have become overly hysterical in claiming emotional trauma for every underage encounter, at least for 14 and 15 year olds. That said, it needs to be against the law because the potential for damage is still very high. Other 14-year-olds may have reacted differently or come to realize long lasting harm later. I was also a victim age 12/13. While it was not helpful to me, I don't believe it traumatized me either. But even there, it's hard to know for sure.

@mysticnomad3577 I just checked wiki and it appears they raised the age of consent to 16 in 2008, but 14 year olds can consent with people "not more than 5 years" older. So I'm guessing this would still be illegal in Canada. I think the judge should be ashamed herself and thrown off the bench. It's man's inhumanity to man. How can she live with herself? She must be part of the brainwashed generation of feminists whose critical thinking and sense of compassion have been sacrificed to political correctness, or some other mental disorder. Normal people don't behave with such inhumanity.
