  2. While not saying everyone, there is a concerted tendency in heated debate topics to try and elevate oneself, and caricature one's opponent. This is glaringly obvious in the case of the "you are pro-abortion" line. Just like, calm the f down. No one is going to win an argument by calling pro-choice pro-abortion.
