I think you're leaving out the concept of redundancy. Better to have two in case one fails to do the trick. Reasonable? I don't think she's pretending to be courageous. She said repeatedly at the end that what she did was nothing special or out o the ordinary. That any American would also have done so.

Not only do many think so, but the older cell phones had an even greater range than today. as they were mostly analog. Just call any telecom expert. You can also read the article "unsafe at any Altitude," about the IEEE Spectrum study in 2003 that tracked 37 commercial flights up and down the East Coast. It found cell calls were connected at all phases of flight. cheers

Had it been shot down, wreckage would have been everywhere, either a big wreck, or lots of small debris that many people would have come across, just as some did in New Baltimore, 8 miles away. In fact only paper and insulation were found that far away, and a few tiny pieces of plastic and metal a mile away at Indian Lake. If you think a jetliner can't disappear underground, look up flight Ethiopian 302. Make sure to see the PRE-EXCAVATION pics. There were wreckage photos of both flight 93 and 77. No one's going to take you seriously if you goof up on basic facts.

@gibson617ajg Because 1), they fully expected the building to come down due to the extensive fires. And 2) media make mistakes like this all the time. Consider that Fox News declared the ailing pope John Paul II died the day before he actually died. What I'd like to ask the skeptics who keep saying we can't trust the media, why do they then always seem to trust the media when it confirms their bias?

@61rdf How do you know unless you look? It shows that flight 93 is not unique. Ethiopian flight 302 was also virtually completely buried. The pictures prove it. So can we at least agree on that fact?

@61rdf I think what drives this for some people is that they didn't show us most of the wreckage pieces, That was stupid, as it just fuels the skeptics. But there were something like 73 different organizations and1,100 recovery workers, none of whom reported anything suspicious, several photos of parts, the county coroner ID'd all the victims. The crater looks improbable but that's why I'm trying to tell you to look at Ethiopian 302, the proof that this type of crater is possible. The search term I gave you takes you right to the photos. Ultimately, I think the real proof lies with common sense, Why on earth would a government whose alleged aim is to do great damage, why would they want flight 93 to be stopped? That is schizophrenic, as I see it. Why would they want flight 93 to hit a field in the middle of nowhere, instead of of buildings with people in them? If they wanted you to think a plane crashed there, they would have planted big pieces. They wouldn't just show a hole in the ground !!

@61rdf "Flight 93 is not the only incredibly incredible incident that happened that day." I've studied most aspects of 9/1, and we can get to more of that later. But let's just keep the focus on flight 93 for now. As I stated already, why would the government want to STOP a plane from doing damage? That flies in the face of the alleged motives of the government. Kindly spell out why we needed to have flight 93 to begin with. And if so, why "crash" it into the middle of nowhere? You have to admit that sounds a bit ridiculous, no?

We could have had a nice discussion comparing F302 with F93, but you don't want to touch that. That shows definitively that you're the one bowing out despite my being a good sport and replying to every post.

If you do the research, you will see the gash is not oriented in the same direction as the wing imprint. Again, it shows who's on top of the facts and who isn't.

@61rdf And if I may add, the "fake crash site" brigade hasn't a clue as to WHY the government would wish to STOP flight 93, and instead wanting it to "crash" in the middle of nowhere. That's pure schizophrenia. This is why I always say, the 911 skeptics cannot connect the bigger dots. They see only the trees and not the forest.

@BrokenSoul79x Because there was total chaos that morning, and because contrary to common belief, most of the bases or standby planes had been removed since the cold war. Who ever said they wouldn't eject? Doing something this dangerous could certainly kill you whether you eject or not. She said "potentially" a suicide mission.

I think the idea of flying bombs, while far from unknown, was considered almost a Hollywood caricature. No one took it seriously. It was too outside the box. (This is another reason we got the truth movement, people who cannot see outside convention, even though their own scenarios are reeking with it, extravagantly beyond any box.)

You're unable to consider that the US government is not just very powerful, but also massively incompetent, with plenty of weak holes in the system. As we know, NORAD was not designed for, nor looking for, attacks from within. That's one reason it took over an hour to intercept Payne Stewart's learjet. They were focused on enemies coming at us from outside. The terrorists identified the chink in the armor and exploited it. Another great example of incompetence was Korean AL flight 007. At the height of the cold war, the plane flew over some of the most sensitive areas of the Soviet Union for over half an hour, escaping back into International waters without an intercept - long before it was finally shot down. If it could happen there, in 1983, it could certainly have happened here.
