  1. But I think we should be careful not to villainize the Turkish people per se. It is said that the western Turks, especially, are known for their hospitality. It is the government that should not be trusted.

  2. @ra12n I am of Greek descent, and I readily admit the Greeks unleashed an orgy of barbarism on the Turks in the war of independence. The tortures were unspeakable. Yet they did not commit genocide.
