@makiba9461 You are free to speak out about it without penalty, witness your post here. And you can post in a thousand different places too. The real problem is Kenya, whose culture is not as enlightened as in the US, and the West in general.

And Kenya will gain respect, as your culture is backwards on this issue. An enlightened morality doesn't put people in jail for activities that are none of your business. An enlightened morality recognizes that you don't persecute people for behavior that's totally private and doesn't harm innocent people. That's just not acceptable anymore given the moral progress that has been made over the centuries. Why is it so hard to mind your own business?

Maybe you're right. One can only go so far in trying to persuade people to mind their own business. Kenya has a water crisis, a poverty crisis. It shouldn't be wasting valuable resources going after gays. Mature and well adjusted people in an enlightened culture do not obsess over gays or support persecution of what happens inside the privacy of the bedroom. It's none of your damn business. That's a cultural defect in Kenya.
