  1. That's because controlled demolition relies on the same principle: gravity. In a CD it's gravity, not explosives, that account for the speed of the collapse. Ask any demolition expert of your choice.

  2.  @Electronic424  Well for starters, the very absence of these things is itself evidence against controlled demolition. The mechanics of building collapses is very complex, from what I have read. I don't have the extensive background to follow all the physics, the way some pretend. But I've read enough that I don't find myself thinking any of this need be deeply mysterious. The NIST/general gravity model makes sense to me, at least in theory. Once the perimeter columns lose enough strength due to the heat, they might well eventually buckle. What do you see as problematic obstacles for the gravity collapse model?
