Well it was shown, contrary to Dauber's distortions, that the judge also showed leniency to black defendants too.

Yes, but not everybody is convinced the judge acted wrongly, so its questionable how much he "undermined" democracy.

Well maybe you should recommend that too for the victim. She stated that Turner "doesn’t need to be behind bars." Is she too in favor of white male privilege?

Apparently Dauber has been responsible for the distortion that Persky was only lenient towards white privileged males. It was subsequently shown he was all around lenient to people of color too. Consider also the victim herself who stated " he doesn’t need to be behind bars." Was her statement immoral too?

The exact quote i come up with is "A. The probation officer interviewed the 23-year-old woman on May 3 and quoted her as saying she preferred Turner receive counseling: "I don't want him to feel like his life is over and I don't want him to rot away in jail; he doesn't need to be behind bars." If this is a mistake that's floating around the internet, I stand corrected. If not, then my quote is accurate. So if she's allowed to have a point of view contrary to what some others are saying, then perhaps we need to be a bit less dogmatic about the whole thing. I'm not saying you're right or wrong, but the idea that there's no room for a victim's sentiments or even some compassion/leniency on a case by case basis doesn't necessarily mean one doesn't take sexual assault seriously. That's all I'm saying. I think his sentence was too lenient BTW, but whether we should do judicial recall in this case is in a grey area from my point of view.
