  6. The truth is, as Chomsky stated, the only person you should trust is yourself. While men's distrust results in more violent outcomes to be sure, the unfortunate reality in my experience is that women aren't much better. You might want to read radical feminist Chesler Phyllis' "Woman's Inhumanity to Woman," a sad tale indeed.

  7. Too many of them do, but not all of them. I think personally it's counter productive to offend men in a sweeping way if we want to enlist their support. I think we have to work with men and not treat them as the enemy if we want to maximize change. That doesn't mean we should stop calling them out. Both can go hand in hand.

If it were so, then you would expect to see gay men being more respectful in their porn videos to the men. But I see the exact same themes in both: raunchy, sadistic sex, dehumanization, humliation. But I don't think that has much to do with trying to abuse or degrade themselves as a class of people. Do you?

  16. Off topic but, we know there are two distinct positions and uses of logic on each side o the abortion question. So let's not pretend there exists a moral consensus among reasonable people, or a hard proof. You can make a strong case, for example, that having a brain of some sort is a necessary condition for having rights. That cannot be objectively proven or disproven. But it's still a good argument.

And this was 70 some men spread out over many years. It's not as if they came every night or even every week. So, would yo like to speculate as to her motive?

  23.  @c.g.bspendersashtray3037  No mistake, but rates by country may vary dramatically. Very difficult to be sure because of all the obstacles accessing reliable data. For example, is Sweden's rate very high as reported? Or are women more comfortable reporting it there?
