  1. Just a few reactions: I think it oversimplifies things to say that there's only two choices: threatening a mother's life versus "just want to throw away." For one, giving birth even in a hospital, risks the mother's life- by about 10,000 to one on average. The risk from an abortion is just a tiny fraction of that. Carrying a child can be scary. Giving birth amounts to torture. Which leads to the question, if anesthesia were not available, would you be in favor of forcing women to go through a torturous experience? Not sure if there's a definitive answer to that.

  2.  @Klako-ls6yt  I don't mean to paint with too broad a brush, but I have found that every single pro-life argument I have had on Youtube has indeed boiled down to religion. Penetrating too deeply into the fragile grey areas of the issue is generally not the pro-lifer's forte. Much more comforting to see things in black and white than to admit to valid disagreement. On the other hand one can't deny both sides are highly polarized more than the hard objective facts might dictate.
