I'm wondering, today's generation of aircraft are designed to safely take off as long as full power remains on one side. Was this also true for Concorde? If so, could a similar chain of events also be/ have been as likely to bringing down a 777 or 787? I'm trying to get a feel for how much more risky, if at all, the Concorde was than the Boeing and Airbus aircraft of the last 30 years or so. I was once taken to task for suggesting I might have been flying on a "death trap" when I once flew Concorde.
