@Doubie. You're right. I was thinking more in terms of Air Canada's obviously deficient approach procedures. But perhaps I shouldn't complain, given how air safety has skyrocketed to undreamt of heights in the last few decades, at least among the 1st tier carriers.

Mentour Pilot, another entertaining and very informative video. Maybe I'm naive, but here we are well into the 21st century, some 57 years into the jet age (at the time), and a major airline is still not able to do a basic approach the right way? Perhaps you could comment on that. Thank you.
