  1.  @MentourPilot  Isn't there something wrong with certifying a plane that can't safely climb with 3 quarters of its available power? The twin jets can do that with half their power. Confused.

  2. Hi, great story!! Comment: something isn't adding up in my mind. How could the loss of just one engine put the plane in such danger? Even with a 4% loss of thrust in engine #2, you still about 3/4ths of available thrust. I don't get how the margin of safety could be this flimsy. Thoughts?

  3.  @jp5000able  Well I'm supposing this isn't the first fully loaded 747 to lose an engine while taking off in hot weather.
