  1. All predators are scavengers, as well as hunting their own food… there’s no ethical code when it comes to survival in the wild. Whether you love them, or hate them… all animals, and insects have a purpose. They all contribute to a balanced ecosystem.

  2. I agree… I can’t imagine, even awake, and alert they’re constantly on edge. But even predators have an extremely tough life. Lion cubs have a high mortality rate of around 80%, with only 1-8 actually making it to adulthood. Leopards, cheetah, painted wolves all have high mortality rates as well. Not only from other predators, but herbivores, and humans as well. The African savanna is an unforgiving place when it comes to survival.
