Hakka is technically not a race per se. Just a term to describe the migrants of a set period of time. But.. as long as people document and trace their lineage.... Just remember who your families are and your extended families etc.

The original Hans... were from the Song dynasties... and a few genuine Hans chinese are left inside China. Many individuals today, are actually mixed race. Mixed with mongolians (Qing dynasty)... and also koreans (Jin dynsty).... The last few ruling genuine Hans chinese were (Ming dynasty) And (Song dynasty). This is why.. when "Taiping Rebellion".... (太平 - 天國 - 運動 = Pacific - Heavenly Kingdom - Exercise ) took place... it was a clash of the Pacific (meaning, those from outside of China, the foreigners).... or the fight about the foreign trades... basically. I now get why... some people, like, the genuine cantonese and Ming's people.. literally would have second wives.. or mistresses in hope to continue to expand their own legacies. Cos frankly... why shouldn't they live as genuine chinese, and on their own turfs any more ?? And today, in Malaya... and SE Asian... so many people are now.. they intermarried with those local tribes. And aren't even chinese any more. Even if they have Hans Chinese names. Shouldn't they follow the rights... to actually erase those chinese written names.. and assimilate into those societies already? Cos the war is already lost. No more Chinese.

What he said in the story is wrong. Cos it was punti that had land owner rights. Why do I say that ? Cos each village represents an actual family unit. Especially with the head of the family be house owner etc. That is why you can find a cluster of villages. They are all relatives. Why do I say that they own the land and the farms ? Cos those lands are gifted to them by their fathers before. And therefore would farm them to feed their own family first before actually pay or give to the family communal pool. For taxes etc. And why do they own that land ? Their ancestors would've been one of the imperial academics or other that would be given lands to settle on. And there are categories of actual civil servants etc. Therefore the whole system works. You can't just walzt into another turf or patch of land that isn't yours.... the thing which kicked off the situation was that the outsiders tried to assume the land via Qing when in reality Qing has no jurisdiction rights in that area. This is why the locals took up arms to protect their lives and killed off as many outsiders as they could. In the end around 1 million punti died or something. And then they built walls in their villages as well.... today in modern society... some people call these individuals triads. Some people also think that divide and conquer works. But you are also killing the "last of the emperor"... so why even call yourself Chinese ? Western media thinks the Qing is the single overall ruling imperial families. Inside China, they know that there are more than a single ruling imperial family and have consecutively different ones running in parallel.... If this was not so. Then you would not have separate land contracts between westerners and Cantonese in HK. Not separate schools etc etc....

Not everyone in China is "chinese" ! And obviously, you could see that they are of different "tribes" or "race" as we call it in cantonese even. When you use this kind of English definition, you lose... Cos many citizens within China itself, does not classify it the way you guys do !!! They see themselves as another tribe/race.

This is not true. Actually. But this kind of history are news in the eyes of the West. Each country teaches their own history of the country. To teach these relationships.. you need to learn it as a separate subject as history.

It's funny, they do dress like the old wedding gears too.... Like, all the old frilly bits that has the metals... Something said it was aluminium. There's an actual push to "preserve the heritages" now in HK... but people don't know what to do. lol.... Or rather, they don't want to stand out, and then be labelled or to even be found and then killed off. So some weird hakka professor apparently is now preserving "hans weitou" knowledge... Cos why... under the so called UN treaty... they lumped the "hakka, weitou, hoklo, tanka" all into the same group. So now, he just does mostly hakka... more like a hakka TV. Some people say that they intermarried. I am not too sure about that one. It's why people are now also so poor too.

@sho9214 : The same is also in the UK as well. If you go to Scotland, they can speak Gaelic. And also English. If you went to Wales, they can speak Welsh. As well as English. Same in Europe as well... So if you are a decendent of say German heritage... You could speak your own mother tongue, German, as well as the expected language of the country. So many Dutch people can speak Dutch + German, or Dutch + English. Cos their parents either married a German, or an English. It reflects their identity and who they are ?

The reason why HK failed, it is because the service sector needed IPs and it needed strong legal teams to maintain those advantages.. They should've reconciled this a long time ago. They should've patented those chinese fonts as well. So many things that they should've done, but failed to do so....

So many cities or places, did not have mining either. They imported things in to build their buildings. Whereas for the UK, we built our own...

You're kind of misunderstanding it based on this individual perception. Prc was newly formed. China does not equate to prc. Prc has more parts that is now generalised and classified as china. But some of these people who support the communists don't know that. But why the fights happen here in Macau and in HK is because these people are indeed the last or few remaining Chinese. That is why they fight for their rights. It's like Catalonia... In Spain.. or the Vatican... In Rome... But hearing in mind that nobody said that the two cannot coexists. It can. It has. They won't fight if they aren't some kind of imperial elite. Think about it. Even in Vietnam, there was a dynasty too... Mr Lai... Now it is part of that. So... What is happening with art. 23 is not good. It makes the whole UN notion a mediocrity. Cos you are killing off the remaining empire of another state. It's not really gambling.. cos in Chinese history, learning to play strategy games is a form of moral civilian etiquette. So a lot of Chinese do play that for enjoyment. The issue is how western eyes see the Chinese situation and then the Chinese see their reputation dampen deliberately... Hence it would kick off. So because Macau was a shipping port along with HK as well. They tried to collect the customs fee. This kind of fee in the UK at least, ends up being public money. I.e. for the community or for the people. So in a way, what you lose in the game, you will see it back in your child's schooling. Since there wasn't an actual government structure at that time in Macau. So.... And Mr Ho being half Dutch and from Europe.... His forefathers have seen a lot of warfare before. Hence this son.. tried his best to avoid bloodshed. At the height of the Dutch Empire.... Their population was in the millions. Maybe around 100 millions ?... There should not have been a Tencents at all. You can't have both Tencents, as well as Alibaba listed. Either/or. What should've happened then, is really to have a Tecents IN HK. Which means that creative industry, like animation, platform computing, distributed computing. Which links in with finances. And there are links that links with HK to other countries and cities as well. So why is this overlooked? When Li Ka Shing was peeved off.. he was not wrong. Cos his son created that so called smart alec telecom company, that kind of ruined things. Cos it disrupted the politics. And now, where is it ? If I was HK SAR government, I would invite the CEOs, or the representatives of HSBCs... for a cup of tea, and for a questioning in their Legco sessions !!! And basically broadcasts this everywhere ! That is what they SHOULD'VE gone.... And make sure that ALL your local television companies have the rights to broadcast that as well. Cos that is so not on ? I don't even know why they hired an actual Brazilian CEO for their exchange ??? I'm sorry..... I mean. Don't these people watch the news ? It's because they never "monetised" to this level before.... they don't follow a set procedures etc etc. So basically, what you experienced, is basically a "bank run". i.e. The bank ran out of cash. It's gone above its quotas. This is why they ran to another bank to withdraw etc.

The country has a 1.4 billion existence.... and you have not even backdated them to the actual ancestors and the Chinese mummies either. That is why it is controversial. Have you noticed that people don't get such news any more ? Prc has now done the utterly wrong thing of expanding their tech sector to bury two sectors into one. The worst is yet to come..... Even if you are a skilled engineer. You cannot find the company to work for to hold their stability.... This is insane. I thought that it was odd too with these various vertical integration which is common in the UK or Europe. But this is another level altogether. Cos he tries to be like Li Ka Shing. A lot of SE Asian holding companies are like that. You would think that a typical manager has an actual fiscal budget control ? They didn't even have that. It is all about sell and buy. I get these people don't even have the basic understanding of a set of books and account. I mean... Most people know how to run a household budget. What comes in. What goes out. Simple maths. In the English, we say , "people from China is called Chinese"... but if you can read, and write in Chibesr, then you will know that there are different family trees, some people consider a family tree to be a single "clan", or "race"... in China. Disturbing and creating a new definition which forces the people to not accept themselves is like country suicide.... A membership to a country, by "nationality" definition does not mean that it is their own race. (FYI, I am also an overseas' British Chinese.... In case, you assume that I cannot read or write Chinese. )

This isn't entirely true, cos it was the actual overseas' slavery and trade, which brought in a lot of money, which stopped them from killing each other as well. So.... By right, people could actually have their own currencies and whatnots. Something is just actually something to swap... so.... you can set your own ratios, and ways to live life.

And then repackaged and recoded.. so that it can be installed into different OSes.... THAT should have happened!!! These days... so many companies inside China just " Copies".... !!!! And even if it does not belong as such.. then those indigenous , should have a seat in the legco. But instead of that.. the legco has a lot of people from the Greater Bay sitting there instead. Which is not even fitting that specific needs like in Japan and in South Korea. The landlords in Japan is the old samauris... The people who fought already for the country, and paid their way and then they own the lands. Same as those who were farmers in HK, when it dated as far back as the Song dynasties. It had provincial level people there. So they should have stayed there and even sit in the legco. But they don't. They get to be pushed away ? @FateTurns : Well, HK have always had the "forever HK" identity thing, so... and yes with so many people running away here and there. Well... what did you expect? The ones that could leave are possibly the ones who are not legitimate heir to live there to begin with ! The concubines surely needs to go ?.. No ?.... But Hakka and Teo Chiu people are the same though, aren't they ??? You need to check out which hakka people, this is. Or is it a case of two lots of hakka people fighting for land and resources?? It's good to also check out why people are killed as well... If indeed some people were part of the Imperial elites, then defying their orders, often get your entire family killed off. It doesn't make sense if they were both hakka people... Those were the days and the laws back in those days.

@MrNajibrazak : I wrote the "chiu chow"... and hakka. Cos some of the Chiu Chow people in HK or in SG... are actually Hakka people. From Chiu Chow. Punti in this context and in this scenario are the Cantonese... and most likely not Northern tribes.. but the Bai Yue people more like.

The more I watch these videos, the more I realised that, these are hindsight, and historical issues.... It's done, it's dusted. So what is left of humanity ? I don't get it.

It was the subsequent versions and erosion and this "new" language, created by the officials... with coercion from outsider influences, like Westerners, indirectly forced this "fake language" to be created, in order to do what... And in those earlier days in HK, nobody calls it "mandarin". Chiu chow hua, is not classed as mandarin, and nor is min nam hua, classed as mandarin either. And even "hakka" was not an actual language per se. It was a weitou wah, or tanka people, calling others this name.. and then clever clogs' Western scholars tried to standardise and marginalise, and pitch people into groupings. So this ended up as such.... And because nobody protested and disputed in those earlier days, or stated obviously... This is whereby you let those kind of published materials to become what it is today. Some kind of weird standard.

Why should the HKUST have a MTR station to service it ? You are already getting to location point to point under 30 minutes. And that is NOT good enough ? Have you gone crazy ? The "Hans".. if that is the yellow river people. They literally have an actual "family surname book". And every single person's surname and generation is written into this family tree book. So that you know who is who. And you consult the book as well before you name your child. You do not have this ? Ahhh... why IS that? Eh ? Cos you did not come from the "Hans" or the Confucian ettiquettes? It figures. In my father's village.. everybody's names are written down... and it went as far back as before the creation of PRC as well... I find what you say odd. What ming dynasty and what qing dynasty did, did not applied blanket to the entire region. So this is why some people also DO dispute this today. Cos some family tree names are allowed to prosper.. or they can breed but others cannot. And at the same time, there is an element of "Hanification" going on. The worst thing that PRC did was to remove its borders.. That ruined everything thereafter. And then people intermixed... and even taken in some odd ball archiac DNAs as well... So bad.
