@sixty4776 : It's very simple... Even if these elites were poor before but made rich. They should do what others did for them etc. i.e. pass that wealth onwards. Even in the UK, it's like that too. So if they don't pass it on then what would happen ?...

This is not true. Actually. But this kind of history are news in the eyes of the West. Each country teaches their own history of the country. To teach these relationships.. you need to learn it as a separate subject as history.

@chillinthailand : So your mom was flirted against and your dad never reacted ?... And you also never actually minded that she might get sexually harassed either ? Really good then. 😂

You're kind of misunderstanding it based on this individual perception. Prc was newly formed. China does not equate to prc. Prc has more parts that is now generalised and classified as china. But some of these people who support the communists don't know that. But why the fights happen here in Macau and in HK is because these people are indeed the last or few remaining Chinese. That is why they fight for their rights. It's like Catalonia... In Spain.. or the Vatican... In Rome... But hearing in mind that nobody said that the two cannot coexists. It can. It has. They won't fight if they aren't some kind of imperial elite. Think about it. Even in Vietnam, there was a dynasty too... Mr Lai... Now it is part of that. So... What is happening with art. 23 is not good. It makes the whole UN notion a mediocrity. Cos you are killing off the remaining empire of another state. Imagine if somebody targetted the royal families.... Even everybody knows that Madonna is part of the royal family tree to the old Queen.... Similar to Mr Lai.

It's not really gambling.. cos in Chinese history, learning to play strategy games is a form of moral civilian etiquette. So a lot of Chinese do play that for enjoyment. The issue is how western eyes see the Chinese situation and then the Chinese see their reputation dampen deliberately... Hence it would kick off. So because Macau was a shipping port along with HK as well. They tried to collect the customs fee. This kind of fee in the UK at least, ends up being public money. I.e. for the community or for the people. So in a way, what you lose in the game, you will see it back in your child's schooling. Since there wasn't an actual government structure at that time in Macau. So.... And Mr Ho being half Dutch and from Europe.... His forefathers have seen a lot of warfare before. Hence this son.. tried his best to avoid bloodshed. At the height of the Dutch Empire.... Their population was in the millions. Maybe around 100 millions ?... Of course due to war, they lost a lot of people. Many Dutch are also Eurasians too now. Many Canadians or Americans are half Dutch. Many so called Chinese or Asians have Dutch lineages.... But they don't know this in their history. If the video maker says that this was the history of Macau.. then does that mean he himself is the son or the descent of such harsh conditions ?... This is why the Dutch have a very very liberal mindset... In order to survive, they would rather be liberal.... Many people don't support them these days though. Despite the video tells you about how these people rose into prominence...

It's too late... It's probably already an extension of Singapore... So it can't compete.

I learned something new everyday. Didn't realise what the term "junket" meant... Well.. if you have a city full of kids. How are you going to find them wives ?.... It's bad to call them prostitutes since... Well.. if you follow the imperial china model. Then sure. But if you followed Catholicism... Er.... That is an affair outside of your marriage! .... This is what they mean by "East meets West"...

@TestChannel-gt5yi : Where are they from then ?...

Noticed that he calls them "triads" and never actually "imperial scholars" or "nearby Chinese landlords"... (Or King, or gentry).... You wouldn't have this kind of disrespect in the UK. Everybody belongs to somebody...
