It's really interesting.. this format, must've been left over from the eras of the great depression.. whereby people are scared... and if the doormen are unionised.. then.... It's like, the building itself, is an actual city. Rather than the city being a city. Cos you have the land rates.. and then the entire building operating like a small city itself. That's very interesting. Never knew that about NYC.... Cos that isn't how life is here in the UK. When I was younger, maybe I would want to live in an actual Loft-type like buildings.. but now.. I rather live in a small cosy house.
