  1. Is this a mechanism to protect the banks ? Like the situation with the Evergrande. This is like a depreciation isn't it ? It goes to show that the actual people who works in the sector doesn't know how to advise or to get companies to help themselves cos the lack of expertise doesn't exist.

  3. It is not because it is and isn't illegal.. it is because consumers are now in the same level as institutions. And with fintech and robo tech investments and wealth app investments.... Nobody is advising or controlling those...

Nobody is advising or controlling those... My guess is that, some banks in certain countries could do this and it was as designed. But with so many banks in a crisis. Some of the mergers didn't go correctly.. and this is possibly a new level of risk which nobody literally patched. A systemic error occurred due to say mis management.
