  1.  @taitslong3417  : You know... for a city.. that keep saying things like..."It is following British laws"... Well.. British laws.. say about "racism" is... "It is considered as racist, if somebody is not given an opportunity".... So therefore.. if these individuals were already given the opportunity ALREADY... and yet, their standards did not reach whatever expectation from employers... THEN.... what is the issue here ?! There is NO issue either ! You cannot employ EVERYBODY from the non-Chinese group to be into the ENTIRE company, so therefore... there can be no work for the local Cantonese either ! Can you ! For a 8 million city.. you want the entire 80 000 people to be in the police force? To be in the education sector ? To be the financier ? I am sure that, I have already seen like a non-chinese policeman already. In fact, some local cantonese and venting on Facebook and ranting already. Cos they were never given THAT opportunity.. when they were in their 20s.... And now they are in their 40s !!! They were FORCED .....to be doing lesser jobs... Cos of what was going on in HK. Imagine that. And now, 20 years on already... the entry requirement, has been dropped as well ? Before, it was a lot HIGHER... that is... the BEST OF THE BEST.... i.e. English (all As) + Cantonese (All As) + All As in A levels. + Degree = Senior leader or even team leaders. Those individuals... at that time, were chosen.. and they had to coax.. the local to accept them, cos their wages were a lot HIGHER than their own wages etc. And they had to negotiate to ask them to not violate the laws etc. It took 10-15 years !!!! (When they basically did is to ask them not to attack you non-chinese. That is what really happened ! And that was WHY trade continued ! And jobs were created ! Money came in etc !) And where did those people went to in the end ? They were forced to leave the city too. Many after 1997 had to migrate into the UK with their measley pension pots. Whilst.. you guys enjoyed everything that OTHER PEOPLE WORKED HARD FOR !!!!!!! I DO NOT KNOW WHAT OTHER KIND OF INSULTS AND TRUTHFUL WORDS COULD AND SHOULD BE SAID NOW !!!!! Those families.. their kids are probably earning pittance.. than what they could do now, in those financier jobs etc. Or to even be a fisherman...(which apparently, NOBODY is now DOING. COS EVERYBODY IS PEEVED OFF !!!)... So now it is a stalemate !!!! no food entering the city. No supply chains. People rather rely on import goods ! Tinned food ! THAT is what is going on !

  9. So he is an actual "Cantonese-Nepalese" then... so what is the problem ? In the UK... if you live in England, you speak English. If you live in Wales.. and they recently changed it to Welsh... or Gaelic in Scotland... This is normal too. I can also speak "German, Spanish, Italian, English, Cantonese, ".... I have a degree. And also a Masters as well. SO.... why should they not have the same opportunities ? Why should this NOT be something that these people are doing ? Oh, I forgot... also French as well. I was and had to speak a European language for the better integration. So I have GCSE German. And then did sciences at A level stage. Is this why... HK now lacks those medics.. and those individuals... who NEEDS these people, but now... they are fighting the same salaries and the SAME rice bowl... as well... USING Taxpayors' money.. to bring THEM up.. even more ?! There are elderlies... who couldn't even get an actual HOUSE... cos THESE families take it up as well. Watch this TVB local channel. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lqry36bRrbQ <----- These elderlies... served the community, til they cannot... and even listening to these statistics now... These kids, are using FAR too much resources... Than the local kids, and the local adults. And they DO NOT EVEN... live in that same city either ! They are migrants, that is immigrants... to the city. Whoever actually did their wrong doings to that city itself.. has done injustice to the city overall. Wanting to make money... but discriminates against the actual LOCAL citizens !!!! I don't see THAT also in the UK either ! A lot of children once created a system.. then help themselves. Lots of people are independent, and is able to speak, write as well. So why aren't these people ??? .... And those so called NGO individuals.. often... are just transient people as well. Do a job and then leave. Do a job and then leave. Creating a really bad chaos ? This is similar too for the UK... The local people, ought to be English or Irish or Scotish. Their population is now down to a mere 60%... and the rest of the society are from ex commonwealth ethinc minorities. What is HK doing ? It is supposed to be around 8 million people.. but I certainly don't think so. I bet that it is around 4 million Cantonese, and the rest are now foreign migrants... and non-Chinese ethnic individuals. THAT is what is going on !!!

  10.  @baruchlev2658  : Actually, that is not true about the USA... Cos the USA, is a relatively "new country"... by comparison to Europe. Europe is an old civilisation.... Whereas USA are mostly, what is classed as a "new world"... and is made up of many migrants.. including those from Europe... AND China too.... Let's be honest about that. And once upon a time... some chinese people also went as far as to Mexico as well. RTHK has documented this quite well in recent years. So... (and they were part of the global trades then.. when the UN was barely just created.. after the world wars)..... China is actually playing catch up. (And they are also doing that thing, which many didn't want to see, which is to integrate their genuine tribal people, into modern day Hans' societies... even India.... which is not "india" by modern day term... It is because of the globalisation, that they are indirectly forced to act as a "singular country". In fact, India.. has a lot of tribal people. Yep. The kind that EATS HUMANS.. and has never seen people of other colours. And India does everything to protect them from being seen, or captured.) I don't think that you actually understand how big the world is.... and not everything should be noted, from the internet... or just social media... California.. was also once upon a time, a part of Mexico. And around that time... actually, a lot of chinese were living there too. So yeh..... the world is far more complex than your assumption. (And no... USA is not just full of "white" people... far from it....although the current media, kept saying things like, "black people were slaves"... er... Only a few, but then the rest were actually... black owners, with white slaves. Because they were indirectly freed by policies. And then... the laws were not all explicitly defined in all states, so there were indeed a lot of hardships on white people too. Til they librated all races. It's too complex to sum up in a single sentence. )

  23.  @rukia6090  : If you can get to 400 characters, you can live and do daily chores and socialise already. 4000 or 3000 is because as kid, adults try to give them everything and try to teach them everything in case when we past as adults then the heritages would be lost. So kids are expected to be doing this anyway. Some of it are also based on Chinese literatures which is not used everyday in a laymen way. So unless you want to become an elite Chinese politicians and references history all of the time and use old Chinese in an every day way.... I don't think you really need 3000 or 4000. Get to 400 or 800. Then pick up the rest like most people do. Which is using a dictionary. To expand. And you would always work in teams even when in a company anyway, but progress is just slowly edging things in. So.... Just to keep things together is important. The problem with HK is that the most educated people are leaving cos they don't agree with the politics. So you get a high turnover of staffs anyway. And I am sure this IBEL CEO is laughing his heads off. But his failing grace is that he was not active and did not participated in politics. He should've pushed his students a lot harder to also bear the burdens too and then slowly integrate with the rest of society and run a side online course this way. But doing his way ends up splitting up useful resources that could have been utilised in other ways for society. I.e. to protect the elderlies or to see through life and death together. Right now... I get that the ethnic minorities won't think about deaths. They only think about life. I.e. what I can get out of living life. Not what do I need to finish off and do before my death.

  29.  @mitsume_slay  : They want the "best of the best". Despite most adults, aren't even allowed to go to school... and never did go to school in China... either. Or in Canton. They were sent to work asap as a child. I bet THIS was never reported EITHER ! Imagine.. we did not even have computers just a mere 40 years ago... and now we have TV shows.. and everything at our finger tips... So these children, cannot listen to a tape.. and then to even mimick the sound? You could ! And this is HOW many individuals learnt as well.. I did that with Japanese. I had no idea what I am listening to. My friend made me a tape. I listened to it. I tried to mimick the sound.. and then I broke it down as well too... and then recreate it back up as well ! Many "ethnic minority" celebrities in HK did the same too. THEY did okay ! In fact, they got jobs as singers.. and TV presenters.. the list goes on ! There are a lot of materials from RTHK as well. Also.. because these Western firms and people, refuses to leave HK as well.. It indirectly drags.. the rest of the mainland China... into the tiny HK city itself. So the infrastructures, should NOT have been created AT all.... it should not have done so. So what the government did, is that, they wanted those foreign currencies.. and forced the local cantonese to move away from their own hometown and their heung ha.... By force, by coercion... and more. So I don't get what is the point of wanting these children to teach them anything, at all means ? For a Cantonese city, half the people cannot even speak Cantonese. Don't you think that the city is in financial danger ? Same with the UK actually.. Half the Chinese, don't want to integrate with the overall grand plan of the country to reach net zero either. And they just want to make their own little bit of money. Shouldn't people really deglobalise, at this moment in time ? Genuine question actually. I had no idea that.. with the social media now... Other HK media, are indeed scraping data and info from other netiezens elsewhere as well so.... What really is the point of ANYTHING any MORE ? ....

  32.  @ireneserrano4570  : No... I think you will find that, they DO classify it as such. And that, they were living off lands that were part of the Imperial structure. and this is why they stayed. And this now, is actually part and partial.. and it is on their home registration identity card. i.e. Their "hukuo"... Which is even what I knew as a child... my "heung ha".... I think you need to understand the English language, to understand what it means and imply. Cos often, I hear and see the different interpretation from Singapore or from Malaysia etc. And yes... even in HK... families still keep an actual family tree book. So what are these newspapers doing ? Even in the UK... they still keep a family tree book as well !!! What has the "56 ethinc groups"... all registered... to people living in SE Asia... unregistered in the new era PRC's system? You're no longer included. lol... I find it funny how... people now.. keep saying things which were actually very old and very random as well ? Don't tell me that.. you want to live in HK now.. because they used the terms "ethnic groups"... in their constitution and you misinterpreted it. And that you had no sense of identity etc ? Isn't it funny then... plastered ALL over HK's media.. kept saying things like... "we want patriots to rule HK"... So are YOU wanting to be a PATRIOT ? Do YOU see yourself as part of the "56 ethnic groups" people ??? Is this what you are trying to tell me ? lol..... I don't get it. I really don't ? And you don't even understand who the "回Hui " people are... do you ?..... Maybe if you read or is able to read chinese characters, it might help. Funny how even though I am born abroad.. in the UK... I still could read and write the full set of Hans chinese characters.. even though the GCSE level then was very rudimentary and very basic as well. And yet... foreigners living in HK.. even after 20 years... still speak English and not Cantonese. Weird, that.

  34.  @ireneserrano4570  : First of all.. you are using the English language. Second of all... SE Asian dispora.. and the chinese history has NOT been translated properly formerly OR correctly. The word you arelooking for is "Imperial China". "Ethnic group" is by racial. By racial.. we mean by DNA racial classification. That is.. Caucasian. Black. Chinese. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Race_(human_categorization) This is why when you guys keep using those "terms" but yet mean different things, come across to me that you're not that educated in all honesty ? And this is the start of the problem as well. Cos your translation or deliberate mistranslation is what is causing political divides as well. And considering that there did not used to be that many romanisation systems in place as such as well... Which then means that, what YOU guys are saying is actually wrong ? And when one mistake is made.. continuous mistakes happen again and again and again... over and over and over again..... I don't know what you mean by "ethnia". I am talking about "ethnic". Ethnicities.. according to British racial laws, define a person's actual race. Considering that HK was actually a BRITISH colony. Not an Indonesian colony. NOT a Dutch colony. Not an American colony. It was a British colony. This is whereby I know for certainty that you don't even know what you are talking about. And often mislead the other sheeps to follow suit as well. When people talk about "chinese" they don't mean the race, they meant the nationalities !!!! THIS is whereby you guys deliberately confuses and mislead others as well in the romanisation. 回族 = 回教人 = Muslims (Chinese-muslims aka "Hui" people, and this is defined on their identity cards in the PRC.) "Chinese" in many Western countries are basically implies that they are Hans Chinese. (Or this is the assumption.) Not Chinese-muslims. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hui_people Even if those are the surnames of the Hui/Chinese-Muslims... and then ??? I am trying to correct your language and you are trying to deliberately be obtuse about it ! So why isn't then.. that collective groups of surnames.. if they have lived in that same region... and that they are a community.. and that they are ALL of the Chinese-Muslim groups.. that.. they cannot be related ? The chances of them being related to one another.. because one muslim entered China many years ago... and then married a chinese Hans. So why can't those individuals now be classified as loosely related ? So why isn't this a "family clan" of multiple surnames ? Cos frankly, it IS !

  35.  @ireneserrano4570  : When Britain joined the UN.. it created that "global model" because... those were the genuine archeological finds. And those 3 neolithic bones are indeed just those three. There is a talk about dividian as well... so possibly a global 4. Maximum. Anybody else, are the descendents of. So you cannot further classify something which was million years old.. with your current a mere under 200 years of inter-mixing ! When Chinese people references 黄帝, ... they mean that they are the descendents of him. The children of the yellow rivers. The beginning of Hans chinese. This is what they mean. Cos frankly, they have a right to claim that heritage. And why should you stop them ? To use the term "hans chinese" or "chinese" to denote that they mean Hans. Is not wrong, imho. Cos "chinese" = "middle kingdom person". Are those Silk Road traders "the middle kingdom people" ? Actually... the chinese nation does not include them to be so ! They are merely living in the boundaries and areas of the chinese state. But they are not classified as "chinese" ! Otherwise, then they would not have those classification under their own identity cards to be of another "race" !!!! Would they ???!!!..... And with Hans Chinese.. there is a distinct culture and ettiquettes surrounding how they live ! Or how they are supposed to live !!!! So I don't get your point in teaching Cantonese, or Chinese.. to non-familial non-chinese ! Cos by right... those who are taught Chinese... often have to have the family ties to imperial civil servants etc !!! The fact that... they don't include them. Speaks volume. Don't you think ????.... It's like Latin... in the UK.. not everyone is taught Latin. And not everybody would become part of the Church of England either. So yeh... I don't get why these individuals, despite being given the money. The resources. The opportunities. And still come back and insult the government of negligence... when the opportunities had been there. IF Imperial Tang Dynasty Code existed in HK... once again... these individuals would have actually been sentenced to death already. Literally. For being unfair to produce an accusation... when their own efforts on doing is not even there.
