I think some people do not understand the long history... of "Middle Kingdom".... I am not justifying these acts. I did read articles 20 years ago when I was in my 20s, about these comfort women. I had always thought that they were chinese. But in reality, they were Koreans. That is going as far back as just under 200 years... and the complication of issue is that Korea, Japan, Taiwan, and HK, were all once upon a time.. part of the Three Kingdom, that split. To think, under Qing Dynasty, the population was only around 300 million people. So this war, has caused a lot of issues... which should never have happened.

@ponziable : I think you need to understand something. Although, in the Western media... we classify China as China, and Japan as Japan. But once upon a time.. and it isn't that long ago... Japan, split off from the mainland... I think it was the Jin period or something... and then they consolidated and had their own Emperor. The Northern region had a lot of influences and interaction with one another. Some not even documented. And this is why even to this day, people fight. They fight for legitimacies... etc etc. Japan, Korea, Taiwan, and the Mainland.. is as complicated as it is comparatively to... France, Roman Empire.... Britain... @tonywatt3281 : What ? You are saying that it was China who attacked Pearl Harbour and not Japan ?? Are you serious ???...... If this is true, this changes the entire concept and diplomatic relationships.

@Kuro-wb8ue : I never knew this... and this is why that exam question in HK was created, wasn't it ? And now this so called "National Security Law" exists.... I never knew this is the story of china. Being a Chinese descendent myself. My heart ached so much during this lock down as I read so many of these articles to find out the truth about the country and its past. It is very shameful. Also very very sadistics in many ways. The decisions. The actions etc.
