People also rioted because it was a place of hysterics and service sectors only. A transition from primary secondary and into tertiary.. so therefore.. there is not much left ? Right now, you kind of have to bring back local small manufacturing. Which, some people are doing. As in food sources etc. But they don't export when they should. It's really interesting.

@canto_v12 : By political freedom, they don't mean an abstract idea. They mean an actual and literal impact on their actions... on final decisions on what the government does. For example .. I want to see... the ex chief exec actually donate a portion of her pension to kick start and to fund new businesses say. I want her money to be used in campaigns, say... that raises funds.

@canto_v12 : In the UK.. it is common for charity events to take place... and then people pledges to the situation, so that it raises the actual funding. So if the hospital need money, it is the PEOPLE... who raises and do things, like a charity marathon, in order to raise the funding for the hospital. It is NOT out of thin air. And it is NOT out of a fund ? The funds are for pensions. They are not for private family's money !!!!!! It is people's OWN money, that looks after THEIR ancestors !!!! Or their elders ! You cannot have ONE system.. and not the other kind ???? Where would this end ?

Cos the thing is...HK "uses those English words"... but when it comes to the Cantonese, how come the interpretation of the concepts are entirely different ? Why ???....

@freemanol : The issue is not that people do and don't speak cantonese. The issue is... who was the original settlers.. and who were the original people. And how come, today, you are giving opportunities to individuals whose roots is not even in HK... to live and be in HK ? Why ? So then it means what... their overseas's relatives KEEP buying their goods.. at an inflated price point, as well as give maintenance fees to run their homes? So we lose out like THREE TIMES ?!!?!?! Get out of here !!!!! And then only for us, who works hard to put in thos same pots... to then see.. the money be MISUSED ?!?!!??! And you expect us to NOT flip ?!!?! HK already uses Fin Tech... it means what.. it means decoupling from the global financial sectors... That is what it has boiled down to. And now, they have Green Bonds.

They have run off to do social media but it means destruction of the actual low level governance tier. It is a case of big media outside of HK versus HK as an investment zone.... that middle ground actually is indeed important to move things around... it was to buy time. But when you have money. People are not willing to give up their jobs in order to release that money for society.... or for their own next generation either.

To be honest... when I look at this video... and then I am beginning to under an actual picture of the actual HK.. of the past... I don't think that it was "any better" in actual fact. Not really. Cos... I had thought that, the way that we have our civil services in the UK is similar to HK's... cos it was an actual Commonwealth? I did not expected that, it did not have that model at all? Or rather, the people INSIDE HK.. did not feel it, or as so. Therefore... this is why it was always chaotic. And the people there, "prided" themselves... cos they assume that it was THEIR hardwork.. that raised the city off the ground. But they have never seen the oversea's reports.. and such like... etc etc etc. So therefore, the people who were "appointed"... or "ex-civil servants"... were.. in reality back then.. and back when the world had only 60 countries. THOSE individuals, were at an higher position, than they do today. After those UN/2nd world war period... each country made up their own structures inside their own country. Maybe this is why, those who lived through those days.. try to rewrite histories as well... etc etc etc. This is why it is funny when people say that " our law is different to yours"... Actually.. HK never had common law, judging the decision-making the actual outcomes. And now... I can see all those reports.. and everywhere, what is going on ?... In those earlier days, you had functional groups as well. Which is a kind of union. Or acts like it. This is why, I didn't quite get all of these so called "political parties"... I think they must have been like, national parties.. cos it was only later on, that people realises that they are out of reach of the rest of the country ? (And HK's news also do not reach the mainland now either.)

@ZakiHaider-y9o : Cos those people assume that, the money would be robbed. So they are trying to run before they get attacked and have their money taken etc. Right now.. HK has transitioned into some kind of local tech money scheme now. So then those individuals want to leave with real money and not digital money etc. As in the mainland. Whereby they can cheat and to scam you etc. Which they do often. i.e. They often get stolen...

@ZakiHaider-y9o : Do you realise that many European or UK cities don't use mobile phone payments ? They still use a basic bank card.
