@GirlishPoppy : Auntie is so happy to see you be "back to your normal self".... because when you lose weight, you are basically entering the "starvation mode" for your body. Your entire body will shut down... and "eat" the extra fat... In those videos, I can see that you guys have gone too far. There was NO fat left ! This is dangerous... cos you are bordering dying. I hope you realised why your parents were so upset. Those pictures, I would never ever thought I would see in 2022... Cos only starving kids back in Africa looked like that in the 1980s, before the internet explosion, and global media. Super skinny bones, no fat, and no glow, and just a bloated stomach. (Cos by that time, your body cannot absorb food any more...) This is so dangerous.
Beauty, we can use different size clothing to "make" us look more beautiful. This is why we are into fashion ! Goodness me !!! It does not mean that, we HAVE to always wear children's clothes ! Your body will grow or shrink, depending on the weather as well... This is so normal. You need food for blood circulations, and health. Keeping healthy for survival is every mother's wish for their child. I hope more girls will watch this video... to show how dangerous it is to, not look after your health. Oh, also, whoever that "trainer" in those "gyms" were.. They SHOULD have been a responsible trainer. When they see that you are dipping into the "danger" zone, they should have backed off. Or not to let you go extreme. This is what they are there for ! To provide a service !!!! I would say that they have provided a BAD service, if they brainwashed you TO the extreme !
UK gyms would NEVER let you dip into the danger zone... And they will go "Slow" in weight loss as well.. not fast losing rate. A SLOW losing rate.... and steady growth.

@iamPudding : In Chinese culture, as well as in Japanese culture, talking about vulnerability is what people consider as intimacies within a society. Within your relationship with your partner/husband. And whether your child gets it or not, depends on external factors. But those meal planning regulation, is restricted and enshrined in law. Cos Japan, similar to China, was a big agricultural society to begin with. Agarian society. In Chinese history, TCM, was linked with Agricultural production. So most families, that came from that background, like mine. My mother would link what food, links with what etc etc. So don't know it somehow. But I can see that, from this video alone.. Many kids, do not follow basic TCMs. I find this quite odd, in many ways. But post revolution or other, maybe because people are so used to "not be picky", children are not taught basic TCMs any more.
I dunno why, but I find it all too odd.... Even in the UK, people live amongst farms, as well as have office jobs etc. It is not like the US, OR in China, a case of "either" , "or" that. You live with BOTH knowledge. Many people do gardening in the UK. i.e. They train themselves to grow a little bit of vegetables, in order to keep in touch with that growing/farming skills..... In many schools, they are teaching kids, to associate with food once again. i.e. What food gives you what nutrition etc etc.

@amalie7154 : If your hair is "white" while you are in your teens to early 20s, this is actually "premature aging", and this is NOT normal. Do not let their way of speaking affect you. Cos yes, a lot of the Japanese women, what they do is actually take supplements... Just like in the UK is doing now. We do have a balanced way to live. Cos food is getting more expensive, but China should not have this problem because they just built ALL the infrastructures to make trains come and go from rural to cities ! In Japan, people desire "health" as well. Cos overeating rice, can be poisonous too. Hence they have small sushi, to keep a balance. In Japan, the nutritional balance, is regulated in schools. From day one. The school meal planner, also design a meal to absorb different vitamins and minerals. And mothers can refuse and comment a specific recipe, or if they have repeated too many times. So that the child do not get an overall rounded nutritious value. UK is beginning to be doing the same too. It is reversing back on itself... Like, most schools had a school chef before and cooked from fresh. Before food factories exploded in the country, and everything is "nuggets and chips", without vegetables. This is why in the UK, the opposite is happening...
Watch this about regulation on school meals. Remember to seek out good items to eat in Japan.

This is the craziest thing. Even though "professionals", only diet, until for like one month, or two months, then they film the video. And THAT IS IT ! They don't carry on this method for like forever... And in many other interviews, they live a normal lifestyle. Even if that means eating for your periods. It is normal for a woman to feel different through-out the month, but still.... Sometimes sure, you may overeat in one mean, then the next meal, just a little bit less in the next... Eating regularly and small portion, but a little bit of everything is very important.
I think the problem for chinese girls is that, they don't know eating things like rice, can also cause a condition called "beri beri". Which is "bloating". It is marginalising your body, to eat a carb which is excessive, and it blocks your absorption of other nutrients as well. Eating half a bowl of rice, along with other proteins, and vegetables is the BEST.
