🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂🙃... This cake is VERY popular in HK.. and a lot of people often call it "chinese cakes", cos it is not the sugar icing type cakes which is found in the UK. Which is based on a madeira base. I did not know that this was a portugese recipe, mind. Now that I know, it makes sense... lol..... I know that, this is very popular in South Korea... and also in Japan too. Really popular with the ladies.. and then, everybody thinks that this is French for some reason. LOL..... I have been to France's bakeries, and I have not seen them sell these... so ahh... Now that you mentioned it, that makes sense. :) My auntie was a baker, and she used to bake this a lot too...
