It is so weird... that.... this tool would've managed to get kids to type and to read and write better and to print things as well. Is this why... graphics and art was all damaged, and didn't take off at all in China ? Like, so many actual print medias... and printings.. went to become obsolete? Cos there was a "ban on games" ? lol... Exactly what my mother said, when I was working online. lol..... And to touch type... That was a secretarial skill as well. Which I now see so many people don't have at all ? I find that weird too. Now I get why so many cannot even write or type the full chinese character sets in those softwares, and how come... CJK typing format became obsolete. Or why kids cannot know how to type using the brush stroke system. And now, the people who holds patents.. aren't the people who made them.. or had those ideas to begin with. Which is an absolute shame. A real shame. No wonder so many chinese software engineers ran out of the PRC and went to Silicon Valley to work. And why so many... were then headhunted back into the PRC once again etc.... Everything now makes sense. Everything.

Even though this video says "ban for 13 years"... was it really ? I read that, IBM had an actual "advertising clause" over a long period of time.. meaning that, they bought out the entire market... and paid for it as well... So therefore... no other companies could enter the same space. Now.... Is it really a "ban" or that the government received in actual money to exchange for this access? Cos if it did, then this make sense.... and why... China became the way that it did.. i.e. "Give me money, or I won't comply" kind of mentality.. and why they actually don't even have an actual financial sector. Everything makes sense then... No wonder that... even the American financial system is partially created by chinese software engineers... and why we now have things like bitcoins... Everything now make sense. So really, it is china that ruined the globe. With tech. Unrelentless tech...

@SicketMog : It's so weird that this was what was going on at that time too... I also remembers the NES... I didn't get one here in the UK. But we did have the BBC micro that had the basics and the basic computer. We then had things like the Amstrad. And various spectrums... and in HK.. the NES was selling quite quickly. Haven't heard of the Subor at all.... So how come the company didn't actually... sell abroad, rather than to sell inside China ? That was weird.

Why is it surprising any way ? Many areas, didn't even have electricities still back then... and that even included in advanced countries like the USA or the UK... (sad but true).... Even my granma's house had farmland on it.. and it took quite a few years of labour, to build our ancestral home. Or the house that my grandfather built. Considering that, people had to farm lands back then.. in order to buy the building materials. And yes... there was no such a thing as "a bank". Either you earn by buying and selling.. or not at all. And even "banking" was really an European thing.. a Roman thing, which changed in time slowly. What is interests, and what is debasement, and what is currency etc etc etc. Even now... China has not solved all of this at all. It has lots of gaps inbetween their own understanding etc etc etc. Even in the 1980s... we didn't have a good and proper fuse box. When the supposed international standard should've been used by that time and at that point in time.... (And now... standards, or even.. knowledge.. and knowhows... All of that gone out of the window.) Cos people literally just jump from A to B. Without learning from the basics upwards. It's the same people moving around... but not the same people who built, and then passed onto their kids etc. Which is half the issue here now.
