@lllllllllllll31lll : I will say this much. Long time ago... when "takeaway" was an authorised license food business, this kind of setup, it is mostly to build a community from bottom up. So, you may run a takeaway, and in those days, not everyone has a car, mind. Then... you also have people who work a 9 to 5 job as well. You COULD work a full time job, as well as some "cash in hand" job, for somebody, after working hours. THAT is how, people raised a generation. So, some kids may do babysitting for their neighbours. Some people may do milk deliveries. Just cos they have a spare time. Others, could do a takeaway run. Then when all families have food, shelter. Then that is it. This is on TOP OF... their own jobs as well.. or their own business as well. People are SUPER HARDWORKING in the UK.... WHO, why... HOW... did we get here? Parents now cannot raise a child on their own, cos the benefits are not going back round in a circle. Cos these people are not paying taxes as well. It is going to a big corporation, and those big corporations are storing it offshore and away from the UK's tax system. So then it means that your school won't get money, and now, your pension do not see any of that either. How did technology destroyed a nation? Very easily. Those were "ad hoc" jobs... Just like, community fayres, or community events. One off things. UK has been asset stripped for a long long long time...
Right now? Right now, nobody is farming. Nobody is doing the jobs that they should do, cos it is essential. People are protesting, the people that are protesting had no idea about all of this kind of "outsourced" model, to different countries, and different people across the globe as well. So now, we are playing a game of "last man standing". A country cannot be more broken than this alone any more. And I think that, in the future... what is happening is that, the soveignty is losing.. and those who has money, are this kind of inequality situation... the money does not go back to the same pot to be spent. It is stored away. Selfishly. So what happens? Your child will NOT see any of this, at all. Then it means, you may as well actually.... close yourself off, and just live off grid with your own family only.
