@giovannichao4154 : But a lot of foreigners also went to Shanghai too. So.....

HK has nothing to do with China.... cos those citizens aren't playing team tag though, are they ? Often berates you if you speak cantonese. Which I am. I was also told... insistently that "your father was a white man and he slept with your mother".... Er... Both my grand parents were cantonese from HK. My parents were both HK cantonese. WE paid our inheritance taxes that went into the HK's civil service. WE ate stupid salted fish and paid the locals... even when the currency rates were set against us. It isn't US who had gazillion children and cannot feed them.... My mother is one of 7. Then I am 1 of 4. Now, FOUR adults.. support 1 kids. I don't think that we will have kids... but there we go. "The Gold Yuan replaced the Fǎbì in 1948 at a rate of 1 Gold Yuan to 3 million Yuan Fǎbì. That same year, the Yuan Renminbi (often called RMB) was introduced as a way to help stabilize the Communist held areas of mainland China. In 1955, a re-evaluation took place and a new Yuan Renminbi was introduced at a rate of 1 new Yuan to 10,000 old Yuan." The problem is not me.

4 to 5 times from HK to London ?... I hope you will up your game ! Cos frankly... when people tried to renew their actual HK ID cards and things like that. You're supposed to bring people "back home". And now.. for so many outsiders.. who berates others. And yes.... surely, you want to rebuild this beloved brand ? A lot of people are a bit disappointed in reality and in truth. Even when so many other airlines had loyalty programmes. Yours was the worst. This is why I always opted for KLM from UK-HK. For like 10 years. I never fight with the crying babies's flights from London. (And it DOES mean that you need to strengthen mommy and baby facilities from those flights direct from London. Train your staff in these areas. Try every focus on customer services and trying to keep babies provided and add an extra well trained staff with baby and children's nutritional needs or even care. Maybe you could bring back those routes. With pride !)

@leealex24 : No. You've not heard of bank runs, and economically collapsed ?.... This time round, it's the courts that ordered the developer to liquidate. An insurance company also just requested to close too. Lol.... It's quite scary.

Foreigners doesn't realise that if they come here. Then it's sealed the deal once again.... So.... They don't know that by leaving, their own country's would be at more of a risk. So....

Because Shenzhen government, is separate from HK. So sometimes they want to ask citizens to pay even more public bills. So.. cos there's a larger population. You need to think of it like that. What are the advantages and disadvantages. If you read the papers, Shenzhen market has collapsed. Noticed that she said, "these are cash rich families". They are not doing this to make more money. They are doing this in hope that it doesn't die. The Chinese bank run has happened. Negative equity has happened. The negative buy situation has treated the actual slump already. They're in a larger area, but it would take forever to go back up. Whereas HK is a smaller area, and can be a smaller pool. For mainland buyers, I would advice them to buy but hold. Cos it's also not in their interests to flip. You will just speed up the demises of further and faster depletion of China's foreign reserve. Lol....

@TheGiantBunnysaid : It was not "influenced"... Japan gave a percentage of their money into the Asian development bank, which gave Japan a chance to work with the mainland instead of fighting or warribg. That piece of history, you need to know. The areas that wasn't attacked during the cultural revolution...it was from this "middle ground banking body" to stop everybody from killing one another. Otherwise, why and how did the mainland opened up ? Did they think that other countries had 0 contributions ???....
1
@trs8696 : The mainland doesn't accept that other cities were 0 financial cities... And that only HK was a global city. They played this UN card too much... To the point that china is causing and giving some countries an unfair advantage over one another. And those countries really take advantage as well... A lot.

@giovannichao4154 : So, how come Shanghai could do that but HK couldn't ?...
1
@keithng5249 : Housing is part of the basket to measure inflation in HK ? Oh God. Why has everything collapsed ? Lol. What about gold ?...

@k.k.c8670 : Cos Huawei network was over in the UK when it happened. So technically, Huawei should not know. So if they could access info from the UK and designs, from the likes of ARM... then that is how they will know ALL their competitors' designs and things. So this is why the UK would want to kick Huawei out. Softbank bought out ARM.... So therefore Japan controls the monopoly in sort... and they could indeed sue, but I doubt that this is likely, since Softbank wants to make money. But this time round, I think the target customers will be Chinese ones. Not foreign buyers etc. Which is a good thing, is it not ? It then means that, China will finally become middle class ? And not expect foreign buyers to lift them out of poverty ?

It's because China joined the WTO... and they also had collaboration with the USA.. and access to the World Bank's Economic models... so therefore, the two biggest powers in the world, basically controls the rest of the world ? And nobody likes that, cos now... all of us.. small potatoes.. are dying in our own respective countries. And China... the chinese citizens doesn't know that.... actually. We died for them. Basically.

@tarawang5466 : Yes, but HK is an international city. Nothing to say that you cannot use those US dollars to convert into another country's currency, dummy. This is what HK was for.... When you do that, other countries' banks have to open an office. It really depends on how you see it. The wrong choice was china to help the Ukraine situation. That made a lot of people angry ... So other countries pulled out. There are deals to be made or done. UK needs support for energy conversion, say. There's contracts to be done there. Also, high end water filtration systems to reduce pollution.. that's needed too in the UK.... Even if it cannot be an outdoor machine. It can be an indoor machine, that can be connected to outdoor volume to pump and clean it through.

@HUgdJHf64 : Russia sold a lot of arms into China. This is why China is arrogant today... and be bad to its people !!! But only if China knew that, the Cold War really was a period of global destruction.
1
@musettawu6447 : Most mainlanders have married most Westerners. So I don't get your point about what your typical "mainlander" wants. Lol.... If you looked at the Northern borders, all or most Russians have married the Chinese, or Mongols married the Siberians etc. They all look very foreign... If you want foreigners.. then invite the Russians, or the Europeans! But most won't come, unlike the English... Cos you guys are their competitors. So.... Lol....

He doesn't know how to sell it... Lol... 😅

@alquinnpantilagan8293 : Because they are trying to see themselves now as the World Bank, than they are, of an actual country, that is why it happens.... and they don't understand that, they need to play as a regulated financial centres. Their assumption of using method A to go about things, can work out, than to go about B... but anyway...
