@MrLantean : If you listen to modern day Mandarin, especially from the North, and then also Mongolian, it actually sounds very Russian, and also a little bit close to Korean as well. So as you can see, they speak their ancestors' language, and is no longer chinese !!! There is no "middle sound".... It is now more like Manchuria-Russian-Korean-Mongolian.....

@eddylalala : No, it is cos it does not exist... and people do not care who they are... In reality, cos the people in charge is not chinese. Go figure.

@user-tt6be2zx3h : He is trying to take offence and be petty... In a way, it is right that the chinese person , his words count and should be respected. Is his point... Because otherwise, it seems like the foreigner is telling what the chinese person should do. So this is offensive. Noticed that no chinese ever directly say "I am offended" ??... In a way, it is interesting to see his comment on sino-xenic... But where did those sound came from ? It is not from English.. I do not think... or could it be so ? I dunno. Or maybe just an evolution, cos people are more educated, and well being is better... So the way they speak is clearer... Maybe more of a psychological thing too.

@LuciusLaw-k1z : Thank you ! For this clarification. I KNEW it.... !!! And the original China, was the river people as well... So I was genuinely very very sad.. when.... Cantonese is being eroded, and neglected as part of the speaking in HK and in Canton....
