This is the stupidest thing.... cos if you do this, then people, tourists won't go to HK. And nor, would there be any other kind of work, to do in those cities either. At the same time.. those countries, doesn't and can't accept that much goods either. Cos China has more people than those country needs. If they kept the ports small.. you could slowly export.. and import... but... since they enlarged it. It would be "game over" after 2-5 years.. cos you forced volume through...... Just like, the exact melt down for China... It didn't take long, since they also stupidly used robotics.. which made things quicker... It makes no sense.
