Er.... you really don't know what is a "keiretsu's " do you ? They were small businesses... mostly families... And then they consolidated. And why did they do that? Cos in getting pooled resources together, then they could change and innovate. They did not "bring any money" from "outside" into.... Japan... In fact, Japan crashed royally.... way way way before.. the 2008 crash. And even USA couldn't safe it. They experienced shock, and then for the rest of their lives, they literally lived in a recession. And the brand name "Nissan" or all of those global MNCs... They do not touch the local internal market. Similar to the UK. There was a global market, which relied on global financial sectors.. and not local money. In fact, those families suffered because of this... You ought to really open your eyes a lot more before speaking rubbish.
When Japanese companies expanded, they literally opened a HQ for that country, so that it is a mere label. So they don't bring YOUR money, into THEIR country... Cos that isn't and wasn't what happened ! The countries that took somebody else's money and kept it, THOSE are the ones that you OUGHT to chase ! Japanese companies structured like most companies like Unilever or whatever.. they kept a business unit for each country and kept their activities localised. So that it is fair accounting. It is the current globalisation that.. we have to watch out for... And when China/PRC joined the WTO... this screwed up the global supply-chain.... And now, the gazillion amount of small and private companies... out there.. hoovering up the world... Collapsing ALL small mom and pop businesses.. THOSE are the ones that you HAVE to be angry about !!! And PRC still feed the supply-chain and factories keep providing components for their techs...
