No. You cannot. And under Sharia law.. it is the woman that gets the beating, and not the man. So.. what does this woman do? Since she is from the Philippines... and not from the Middle East or is living in the Philippines ??? She is taken out of the situation. Cos when under the UK's position.. she is allowed to call the NGO... (IF the family is a diplomat as well.. then this is being "diplomatic" from the view of the British government as well isn't it ?) Cos then.. this should be dealt with by the Home Office after that.... and maybe with this NGO to get the individual back home into the Philippines. (I don't get the part about "rehibiliation"... cos there is nothing to rehabilitate. She just admitted that she was raped.) The NGO is then bridging the gap between two governments.... Should the UK not then try and send her back to the Philippines and contact the Philippine's Embassy? They should ! And they should be made aware of this as well !!!

  6. Exact same thing with oyster sauces from HK into the UK a long time ago. When those small family businesses, started, or tried to expand. And then have issues holding onto supply chains and so forth. When they are of a certain size and level and need to meet sales and demands. Then this is what happens. Substitution exists. Unilever was famous for global expansion. I rather they sell it "as it is" without re-processing it again. So before brexit, we did have local excess stocks. Local sellers would tend to buy those and then resell. People don't mind. It's now a case of.. supply chain ends up on British shores... This is now an issue as well. And then some clever clogs try to fudge it. i.e. Force several ingredients together to make new things instead of wasting anything. Now, that I don't agree with ! (THIS is ultimately what this video is talking about....) And they are always those.. gimmicky things. "We only have this much. How much can we sell and make a profit and not a loss?".... I rather that they shrink the size, than to create some odd ball things. I see a lot of this kind of oddball things.. in the UK. They mostly come from Europe. Like.. I found out that... Pringles made with rice. And has Russian labels on them. When I bite into it... I almost cracked my teeth. I bet these are the "new recipes" from another region. In the UK, the manufacturer uses potatoe powder. It's absolutely crazy. (And rice is not the same as potatoe or wheat. It is too tough to eat as raw. (And this is another one of those issues of, the sellers doesn't know how to deal with the ingredients either.) My nephew had something which was inedible this Easter period. He found some odd rice crackers. With a Polish label. In a Turkish supermarket. I tried it.. and realised that it was manufactured wrongly. It's not even cooked properly. It was hard ? (Rice in Asia is never dried. It is always used in a liquid recipe in one form or another.) I almost choked on the thing. I don't even know how that got passed their QA !!!

  9. The whole point is that, some ingredients, when eaten as a whole, is fine, and your body can deal with the fibres, and the water contents, and its minor nutrients. Whereas, if we compound fresh produce into dense powder form. This usually causes your body some heartaches. Because in truth, the density of the nutrients have increased N folds.

And then also... their kids are likely to survive a lot better than the rest of the others who won't. And the funny thing is.. this accountability thing, should've been a semi means-tested thing. Instead.. with the rise of globalisation,... and the financial sector basically helped these individuals to escape justice as well. Cos then... they would've been able to get access to actual money and finances, just similar to the previous generation of MPs. So therefore the donation is just to keep them further in powers ? If you scanned the history of all citizens.. ask yourself, who got out alive in the past 20 years and who did not ? The answers are all there.

  11. That's why we have devolved. And also, why some devolved regions takes control of their own region as well ? But the thing is, those who sits on those committees, have no idea how to do politics. And I cannot say that this isn't ending up as some kind of rolled up glorified oligarch setup instead. Cos it is no longer about a citizen voting, but more like about who has a company and has a stake in society ! That whole "Big Society" thing, has not influenced people in the right way. At all.

  12. This happens in HK as well.. and then the Filipina actually gets the house, and then they get the entire property of these individuals. The fact that the UK government steps in and to stop this from further happening is pretty funny. Cos in HK.. nobody bats an eyelid and then they are forced to fly in between those countries.. and then give up half the wealth which is supposed to be for their descendents, to be given away into Philippines.... (To say that people are not angry is an understatements as well ! And HALF the media in HK is dominated by SE Asians as well... so they don't actually report this kind of biased and hidden news too.) NEVER. This is why HK Government is pretty bratty, useless, and hysterical.

Similar to the gazillion amount of individuals who "I just happen to enter the UK, and then I found a job...but I never changed my visa to match this job"... business. VERY VERY WEIRD. And the UK's Immigration Dept is kind of letting the side down, cos they don't take ful control of the situation as well. And half the people who works for the UK's immigration are now immigrants themselves, and doesn't even double check the laws first. And then some idiots think that it is pretty good to outsource the work.. and then so we have this now. Trapped. Now that we have brexited, I bet that the UK is loaded with lots of irregular records etc.... Like, those who came and went etc... Just lots of it.

Cos the UK government has a LEGAL right.. to be involved as well. And well.. if my family tree research is correct.. then.. I think I have some families also from Australia as well. Presumably, freedom of movement, is because it is all a part of the Commonwealth. So most people do not feel too above others, or whatever. Surely, you have to ask yourself, at this moment in time, do we have a legal right to house these refugees, or have the legal right to send them into a Commonwealth country? If this lawyer is hesitating, then it means that, they are not yet British, and therefore has no right to live in another British Commonwealth country? Also, even if you move jobs... to certain countries, you are not entitled to many benefits of that country as well. e.g. Japan... so there is always this risk factor.

There is no more international banking, the kind that we used to be able to do any more. This is gone. Those days are gone.   27. It can be possible with 10 minutes... but then it means that you need a super strong receptionist and a very savvy one at that as well. Who kind of has some kind of ideas about medical care and conditions as well anyway. And then they have to schedule some spaces as well inbetween appointments. So that the doctor can indeed have a mental moment to absorb the record and the details. And the receptionist should've taken all of the details down, even before they are seen... so then the GP then does real life diagnostic check, to reaffirm what the receptionist took down. As well as cross referencing the medical record too... If they did that, then sure... 10 mins can be possible. But if you don't have a team player.. or somebody who doesn't really tell the truth or speak much, or the patient is not very educated or knowledgable... Well.. then.. doesn't matter how much time you have.. you won't get what you need. The thing which grates me about the UK in general is also that... who isn't that educated? We now have university degree... or even some could be ex doctors doing menial jobs. So that they are aware of what is what and why.... If we don't have a skilled educational force anyway, do you think that the country could have this kind of decentralised model !?!?!?!!!! I super don't think so !

  28.  @Michael-ns1ey  : Maybe a group of GPs split off... have the clinics to themselves.. as someone suggested.. i.e. Empty spaces.. instead of a central authority to move people around and use existing spaces.. and use the old locum style. They are now using apps... a middle man.. to "sell" back to the NHS or something like that... for their service... That is what, I bet is the NHS model.. or is going on. Cos how else can you keep the people happy ? Isn't this why there is now a "central NHS Business Function" organisation or other ? They are basically reshuffling debts around, that is what. And I bet that those clinics took out big loans.. and need paying off !!!

But there are situations whereby now... people take advantage as well... some migrants might just take each other out too. Like in my area, a lawyer was stabbed to death by their client, cos the business did not go their ways. And then there are the domestic ones. Fighting over children as well. (And also other types of policing, which should be policed, but is not and does not happen.) Like... slavery work, or bad working conditions etc. Or for small businesses acting out as well. Lots of things. The racism thing is also too intense AS well....

  37. GP = General Practitioners. (GP)... aka "Family Doctor"... Your registered family doctor.. is supposed to keep all of your health records. Even if you have been to the hospitals.. Your GP should indeed also get a record AS well.... and they should keep this as well. Nobody else should get your records, at all !! And also NOT be sold abroad. Definitely NOT !!!! Your NHS is paid for, via your NI taxation.. it should come from that pot of money. And also, they increased the prescription fees as well... So it should also cover this too. Each time you see a doctor. it isn't free from point of care any more. It is paid from the prescription fees as well. We don't have any other fees per se.... but yes, so it isn't totally free. Not really. Once you understand how the taxation part works.. It is not free. So for a foreigner living in the UK.. who doesn't pay taxes.. Or rather, they can pay taxes, but it is claimable. You can claim back the taxes that you paid into the UK... Especially if the UK has a deal with your own government. Then you only pay for what you need. So then, it seems "equal" in that sense. It isn't an insurance model. Though we can have separate insurances as well.... but it does not make any difference... Cos they are money paid each time !!!

Their assumption is that the EU law overrides the rest of country level laws. So... But it does not ? It is crazy when you have a single person. Read something online and try to force everyone to comply. These individuals and those companies need prosecution. And the thing is, those countries aren't exactly doing any prosecution either. This is the problem. They are so focused on the economics that they don't even deal with criminal cases. This is why the UK has increased stabbings.

  44. Yeh.. I recently also hit into problems too.. but out in SE Asia.... I went quite high up.. and didn't realised that it was so high above the sea level.. and then I had .. I felt... It was so tough. It is always best to be prepared... Am glad that I used to do walking, and definitely took some advice from other people too... and looked after myself, quite a bit.   45. This is a democracy... We have a say in how we change the model. If the state indirectly forces you to close your private business. Then you need to close. The contracts could be removed. Money is just a tool in the UK. Don't see this in a personal way but get with the factual situation first and foremost !... It's like running a family budget. There is always a need and people are allowed to move around the entire country. It's a 69 million existence after all... But the thing is. Once you decide to connect yourself to the UK system.. then it mean taxes. And your possibility to run a clinic. Or that you chose to open a sub branch or freelance. This is the reality. People are only speaking of what they know of the dynamic situation. It can change asap by tomorrow. This is how life is in the UK.

  47. It depends on the airlines.. I think most long haul UK airlines would cover or have insurances to cover etc. So you can ask for compensation. It is the chartered ones, the ones which he talks of about single private air plane kind of scenario. But this does add pressures to all these airline staff and ground staff as well. Plus during lockdown, lots of airlines are restructuring and asking for peanuts as pay as well. THIS makes it even WORST. Lots of people quit... Pensions are gone. So.. it is even harder to find good and experienced staff. When something is this critical.. and people had such experiences, and yet, they probably wouldn't be able to live and to work in or near the airports. So finding staff to live near one is even harder ! Lots of airline struggles to recruit as well...

The kind that is more affected quite quickly by the bank rates etc. So this is why Wilko is now closed as well. This time round, it is because other countries are holding our pound, and doing oddball things. It is also affecting us directly. Quite a bit !!!!

  50. How is it not justified ? These students.. that is, all universities are actually publically owned? It is owned by the state. They are not private universities. It is funded by the public sector. So therefore... the gentleman was basically protesting that he has to pay around 3 times as much. I remember this.. it was that year whereby they reduced the actual 3k....into 9k per year... It turned into a 27k a year !!! I think it was just like a 1k per year... (and with maintenance to the low income kids)... into a 6 or 7k a year. Then into the 9k a year. When it was just 3k a year, people still either get a maintence grant as well as working part time to substitute into a full wage and salary, cos you still have to pay for accomodations. When it was 27k... that was unsustainable at that time unless your parents was earning a lot for this ? Many families doesn't do it then. And they stopped their actual kids from going to uni at that point. And do not forget... university lecturers also get an actual pension pot as well.... If nobody gives back to the public pot, then it doesn't work. I did some basic calc. The most that people could earn in their entire lifetime then was a mere around 250k.. for their entire 45 years of working.... If costs are kept low as well. But now... what used to be a weekly shop of around a mere 5 pound, has now turned into a 20 pound per day. Or around a whopping... 100 pound per week !!!! 20 times increase ! And this is not including the actual energy issue as well. It used to be around a mere 520 a year, into the current 1500 per year cap. In some cases it is around 2500 !!! That does not include the excesses that does not exist in your life time before. Like mobile phones per year costs didn't exists. The cost of medical prescriptions before did not exist. Transportation costs did not exist before. Not in this amount. And now every single of these items are not even locked down. Cos foreign investments kept fluctuating a lot as well ? And they did not even actually close down things either. People kept selling bad items and marketing as well.. marketing bad things... here or there. And diluting things all around too... Can a 70 million country have around a whopping 60 million company owners ? Who are all fighting for the same 70 million market ??? And expecting all of them to be earning in the millions ? Does the maths add up? It does not add up.
