PRC is always going to "lie" anyway... what do you expect from a 1.4 billion existence ??... Their ambassador is their ambassador.. of course, he will say what is right to reflect his position and his country. But in reality.... well.. let's look at the literal actions taken. Closed down factories, reduced energy consumptions. Refused coal from Australia. Locked people down and indoor. Closed and knocked off so many buildings, Evergrande collapsed. Kicked out of Peer to Peer lending within its country. Locked down HK. Tried to.. raise their metaverses.... Tried to do deals elsewhere to expand belt and road. Wrote off some money to Sri Lanka or Africa after backlashes... I think it that digital money isn't working out so well then ? Cos it is bottlenecking... Citizens screaming blue murder cos inflation is so high and price of goods doesn't reflect wages...

@sko1beer : This was a trigger to a Russian (bad) move.. which happened years before.. and during those period of time as well.. bearing in mind that, MANY social media did not existed, and China.. did not supply AS many mobiles and be sold across the damn world too. (At that point.) So if you say that china is not both playing the devil's advocate or anything, then I am saying that, you must be lying to yourself. With the lockdown, SO many people are online, and EVERYBODY... is watching this unfold in front of their laptops, tablets, TVs etc... So yeh.. this is a mega big "egg on your face" on your face situation... From a "hype", it has now turned into a bad reality.. and everybody is watching this... So yeh, this is turning sour, cos people are now broadcasting all the details. Like.. why would some of the Ukrainian nationals... who have Russian heritage, are being treated this way by the Russians, for example? And because some people turned to violence, some of the soldiers, don't even want to participate in it as well? And the soldiers that were sent, they were told that this was a "training exercise", but only to realised that it has turned into a full blown war. And yet, inside Russia.. they played it down, and of course, their media is not taking this at all. So...
