@slartibartfast7921 : Because these cameras were made, to connect to their systems, and not to be custom-made to be fitted with other countries' systems. That is why. And right now,... there is nothing to say that... UK isn't also violating laws of sorts. Maybe China has remodded themselves already and by having these, we too, are incriminating, or helping incriminate their own people... or whatever...

@Andrew-rc3vh : No... but there is talk that, there is to be "digital coins", and those would be outsourced, and if you "do not fit the mould", then you will either 1) become poor, and 2) become restricted, and marginalised. Freedom as you know it, won't help. Plus... "Doxxing" can happen. "Blackmail" can happen. etc etc etc.

@mistermartin82 : Many of these "cameras" are based on some kind of internet protocols... that is why... I am glad that C4 is not abolished. Cos who would report such things, if they did ? FB is already using what kind of technologies ???.... And what kind of protocols are being used these days in conjunction with what here ???..... Let's be honest here. Is this like cloud computing gone wrong????

Why do you think that you could get "causian porn" in some of the "techie markets" out in Shenzen ? And you see that, and nobody really thought about it ? I went to such a seedy place before.. in the late 1990s... and I did not register in my mind what was happening. That was due to the fact that, those kind of undersea cable was indeed installed first.. and people because of their fancy actions, had absolutely no idea that this was illegal.... And yes, from adults, to children, and even now... it is not even surveillance.. it is dual broadcasting. The "media" sector in HK is big. How come the "film" sector increased exponentially, and why did Hollywood became what it is ??? You tell us. And this indirectly fuelled... well... what was to become the "social" media now. Why? Cos other countries cut China off. That is why. And now the same thing is happening again... with mobile technologies. This time, even worst.. children ! Child porn !

@karwashblark7499 : Because Italy also signed to be accepting that "one belt one road" initiative.. and has a bilateral trade deal. So therefore, how does the "central government" deals with these kind of "I want central government to watch over this land" approach ? Isn't this why, the likes of Ai Wei Wei... went to Italy a while back to report on the Syrian issue? And then... also... that... I am SO aware that even Google has entered China, and these kind of webpages are either filtered out, or allowed, or not allowed...
