@vinamrasinghai2339 : The land is not owned by the "community". People live in their "surname and village"... Meaning that, they live on the land of their ancestors. Cos they worked on those farms. And they worked off the lands. It belongs to them. And the people who tells them to pay taxes, are basically their grand dador great grand dad. So the pooled money, goes to their grand dad... And then grand dad resplit it back up again to them all. EQUALLY. This is not what these PRC people are doing. Cos they are borrowing from foreign banks... and then have to do whatever to pay back up those debts. This is why they call it "economic zone"... But he should not have to do this. Cos it is his ancestors' land !!!!!! HE HAS ALREADY PAID IT OFF !!!!!....

We used to have a wooden house. And that was fine. We had to work hard, to gain the materials, even before rebuilding. What has the USA's salary level got to do with YOU ? Those lands.. are owned by them. Even if the local government had a reason to build. You can DISPUTE THIS IN BEIJING.... Instead of sending the officials down to them.. to see what is going on.. they didn't. So this man is basically there to fend for himself. Yeh... my mother swapped a dried old salted fish for around 200 pounds back in the 1980s. How much is that then in HK dollars? Around 3000 HK dollars ? How much in yuans ? (Back then, it was around 1 HKD = 100 yuans. OH YES. WE REMEMBER THE EXCHANGE RATES!!!!) What the flying F... why wouldn't China build their own exchanges? And why this way? Why didn't they build commodities exchanges as well ? Why do things the hard way ? Why didn't they paid taxes ??? THAT DEAD FISH WAS 300k YUANS ?!!?!? WTF IS THIS ?!?!?!?!?!?!?!!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?...... My grandfather was already in the UK, even before Xi was born. Even before the PRC was created !!!!! HOW DARE THESE PEOPLE !!!!!!!!! WTF !!!!!! Somebody said that 40 years ago, there were only around 3 billion people. WTF did the extra 4 billion came from under 40 years ?!!?!? It is now 8 billion people ?!!?!?!?!?!..... Many people in the USA and in the UK have aborted MANY TIMES OVER ALREADY !!!!!! Why couldn't and why didn't China abort !?!?!!... The fourth type... meaning it is maybe the great-grand child's house.. or his turn to have the land, and that he can to work on the land.. in order to raise the tax revenues.. and then resplit back... WTF is this ...."compensation" business for !!?!?!?!?!..... WTF is this ?.... Those are foreign debts ! It has to be paid back !.... It doesn't belong to those citizens. If they censor this, it is because they don't want foreign countries to see it, in case it affects their UN votings and trade deals.. and laws... But what are the chances that this guy will be able to get what he wants, without being harmed from the situation? Zilch !

You don't really understand, some of these lands, like this man, he has a land deeds. People were only given land deeds in the past, either because it was inherited. Or that it was "worked off". i.e. They were slaves, and farmed enough to pay off the taxes, so that it belongs to them. So.. because this man has the land, and it belongs to him. He does not want to give it up. some people will say that, but you will get compensated anyway. But most of the compensation is not even enough to move into one of these new builds any way ? So then it means that, you have to start all over again. Like, take another generation or two generations to pay off that land, and house. Even during the 1980s.. Japan's mortgages had to take around 1.5 generation to pay off.... This man just don't want to move. Cos he said already that he has settled there for a long time ? At least a few generation already. Which implies that he was there, even before the formation of the PRC ! And even during the second world war ! So why should he go? Just because the current PRC government wanted that region tobe reclaimed, and then regenerated ? You have to remember that, PRC is a big place. Not ALL areas, are liveable for one. Not all regions have fresh water, and amenities. The fact that the PRC government also decided on those stretches of farm lands, to be grabbed and then turned into a city.... It leaves less and less farmable lands, and liveable lands ! If there is no water, and no good farmable land, then this is a dead land then, isn't it ????? Also, this is another money exercise as well.. so these lands are forced by the local mayors to compulsorily given up from these citizens. Then the mayor gives them away to housing developing companies. Then the mayor uses these developer's company as a shell company, to take loans out. And then they use some for the house-build, and some for their amenities, like schools and things. And then they rent back, or remortgage back to people to buy them, at an inflated price ! So this is how they recooperate back the costs. But the thing is... the developers are the ones making the profit, and not the landowner. So therefore, how many years, will it take for these citizens to pay it off? Never. That is the point, cos there are no jobs. And the thing is, this looks good on their local GDP's/budget.. cos it balances, but it doesn't increase inequality.

@purizann : In other countries.. the landowners... actually own the bank. They incorporate a bank.. and watch how it is loaned out. And if they feel that it is not going down the right road.. then they intervene.... And so therefore, like watching their own child grow up.. it makes sense. But not so.. in such a chaotic.. and such an actual... nonsensical method.. to raise a generation.

This German man is also wrongly accusing that these are "collective lands", as in.. it was given to them by the government. But some of these are literally "Imperial lands", cos your family was gifted from the Dynasties and the different Emperors. And they were PAID OFF.. land as well !!! People literally worked, and paid them off. So this means that they are PRIVATE land !!! So what is the government doing, in forcing private lands to be national lands ? Using this kind of situation like these foreign countries, and foreign companies to "compensate" ?! There should be a LAW that says that "no foreign companies CAN buy PRIVATE IMPERIAL CHINESE LAND" !!!! FFS !!!! Even if you come to Europe, you do not see any private companies OWNING those lands !!! They are literally "off limits" !!! What the heck is this supposed to mean ?! And how much compensation should there be ? If the government can afford "compensation", then why doesn't the government just create a "benefit" system then just like so many other countries have ? The UK has it. Japan has it. So why doesn't China have this ? Why must the country joined the WTO, and now to be indirectly forcing the entire country to be "following the WTO's orders" ?!?!.... That is absolutely ridiculous to the tee ! And there should've been boycott as well... Who broadcasted those kind of media news, that enabled that rush towards Shenzen to begin with ? They have a nerve really.... So many people are literally nomads. Cos they have done this once. They will do it again and again and again. Not even considering and know that, many people have lived there like SIX Generations !!!!! SIX ! 6 x 25 = 150 years !!! More than the PRC's formation time !!!! More than the British's treaty with the Qing's dynasty !.... Chi sin....

@kevingu5655 : FYI... dig around... some of the people who lives in the USA now... are still the race of that land... When you say "aboriginals"... Some of them were actually celts... an even older generation than the Native Americans that migrated there later on. This is why some areas of the USA is white. Cos the "tribes" were white !!!! You can find white DNA bones dotted all over the North of America. Check it out. Some of the Native Americans were from further South. So in effect, everybody, each race, IS as they are.. and they have lived on their own ancestral lands. And why is the PRC now, diluting that Southern Hans/Northern Hans boundaries? And why is the land... not taken in.. and allocate that individual to SIT in the company that bought the land off him.. and that he becomes an actual shareholder like in Japan's situation? Why does he have no say over this ? He should be part of the organisation, and part of the decision maker as well. Why is everything so difficult in the PRC ???

Every chinese person knows this too. This is not biased. Cos the mechanism is that you are supposed to be able to protest about this to the central government or to the state council. But of course.. people in your local areas would ALWAYS pull you back down. Why ? Cos they would be the first filter first. This is why.. so many people literally donate money to those provincial level officials first, even before progressing upwards to complain. And the country refuses to reform the political model.. so that people can deal with their local issues. Only a few provinces have their own local courts... of mediation.. but even then.. this is difficult. And this is not the smooth transition between the old Imperial Days.. to the modern PRC UN model. Cos the two does not work hand in hand in all honesty !!! The original UN deals were to do with shippings and ports.. How could that then turned into something else, when those days are done and dusted !?!?!!!..... Why should the two unite further to begin with ?! It should NOT be so !!!!!!.... Some of these people are literally trying to make money to go round for the sake of money to make it go round too. Some people already did analysis already back into the 1980s... about how much land and resources there are in the world. And no.. we don't have even of everything to feed the entire global world of 8 billion people !!!!!!! We DON'T HAVE ENOUGH !!!!!.... Under 40 years... It took us around 1000 to 2000 years.. to raise the global population to be around 3 billion people... and then it took 30 years to reach 8 billion people... Has people gone insane ??... And not take a step backwards !!!???

Many villagers are also "sweet talked" into moving abroad and working like second class citizens as well... in order to "pay off" those new buildings as well. That is what went on in HK. And even today.. this still goes on now... Distract the villagers from the developers' bad intents.. and THEN... force them to sign and give up, using dirty tricks. And when you are gone from your own hometown... then land grabs happen. This is what went on in HK for a long long long time.. as well... and this is why the Shenzen regions and areas are now the same too. Especially those prominent regions that says that they have legitimacies against the government. All evidences are most typically destroyed...

If you are not happy with the land grab, you are supposed to be able to make your complaint to the State Council... or other, or someone in Beijing.. But of course, this will put the local mayor out of his position, as well as those developers.....

Because these regions are bankrupt. and rely on borrowing from banks.. and banks can only lend, when there is a building to lend against. They don't somehow lend, when there are no actual buildings or assets to lend against. If you see the Japanese model.. what they did is that, their assets.. the companies.. pooled together their resources, and gave that to the bank, and then the bank relend back their profits back to them. And therefore the employee's salaries come from that instead.. and then they create what you call a "keiretsu "... In a way, it is like a cooperatives, but it is not a cooperatives.. but it is listed as a parent company.... and that the major bank basically back their jobs and salaries.. and then the employees can also be shareholders as well etc. Why are chinese lives seen as so cheap ????? The man even has the LAND DEEDS !!!! No banks across the globe, would refute their land's deeds !!! FFS !!!!! Those deeds are then kept in the safe.. and then the man can always refer back to that safe for safe keeping etc. I don't even understand this kind of weird "liberalisation" BS that is peddled by the US and that the PRC kind of swallows up. ALL these kind of deeds in Europe are all kept. As well as in Japan as well. Those are all kept. So what the heck is wrong with this chinese way ?

I want to write this explicitly for our Western readers. Some of these so called "villages" and "communities". They used to be IMPERIAL LAND !!!!! FFS !!!! Why is this happening to China !!!! And what the heck is wrong with people, or the local governments, trying to merge and consolidate regions ?!.... Just because some people are not revered.. This is absolutely crazy. If you lived somewhere for SIX GENERATIONS... It means that, you are that region's descendents... !!!! F!ck.... To reverse the "legality" of this law.. we want Taiwan, the Nationalists.. to TAKE BACK that central government's lands, that BELONGED to genuine Chinese !!! And let there BE A lineage and family tree trace AS well !! Who the f!cking heck was Mao ? He doesn't even come from Canton ! And nor are Ming's descendents "!! He can go to xyz !

What this "architecture lecturer" have NOT said is that... these "collective groups of male villagers", are often of the same family name. In the UK, the Lord and gentries inherit their lands. They continue to own generation to generation and pass their land and their titles onwards. What china should've done is to give these groups of people a SEAT at the table in the local provincial government. That is what they SHOULD do. Cos they do this in the Japanese model. And they also do this as well in the UK. The Lords and the Gentries.. SIT in the central government position ! So why shouldn't these collective groups of "imperial villagers" cannot voice their opinions ? If this was not important, then would they not SAY ? They are NOT "collective" as in a communal way, these people are the descendents of the old Imperial China ! Which makes them actual land and lords, of the old chinese imperial system ! HOW can their fortunes by like this ?! No countries with Royal family trees... would end up this way !

@sunmanyi3265 : Because this TV media channel is misrepresenting the situation ? And because it is under the assumption that ALL land, are state's lands... It means that some people can be bullied, out of their inherited land. Now...if Taiwan does go to war with the PRC. I shall not be surprised... Really not surprised. And these two entities are NOT actually a civil war. The sales of chinese goods in the West has increased their GDPs, so much so that, those who controls the money, not also controls the politics too. And I am sure that wasn't even the issue a little while back....

I think the letter is an actual letter which states that, she does not agree to the demolition. It is a signed letter.... to be against the decision. It is not a consent letter.
