  8.  @kevinchen7903  : You have to understand a lot of things. A lot of so called "Tribes" or "clans" may live remotely... and some of them, were actually so called "army units", or people who fought for their dynasty in the past generation and settled in that area. It is modern day words to describe them as tribes. What is missing... from then, til the now, is the continous hardwork to keep a civilisation going. Or a society going. In many South America.. Many tribes deliberately "hide" from Western civilisation... But they live the best lives in the Amazon. China's tribes, if they were originally nomadic ones, should be supported.. So that they do not lose any of their so called skillset.. To live with the land. Many of these tribes, can live off the land, for free. Without paying a single penny. Did you know that ? It is now the pressure on the CCP government, to migrate a "thriving community", into an actual urban area.. Some of them cannot cope. They do not even know the concept of money, never mind the concept of interest rates.. Or to even work for someone else, in a white-collar job. There are so so SO many movies, made from the US, above this bridging of gaps... between extremely nomadic life, to that of an advanced society and country. Should it ? Can it ? Really, should it ?? If you look at even cities like HK, so many are sentimental of the past old village life. Of not paying extortionate amount on accommodation costs... So many people screws up the calculations. So a generation is to be blackmailed ? Is this how life is supposed to be ?!!? Wake up. If these tribes or clans can survive... in a rural way. Then they must not be disturbed !!! Capitalism is not for everybody... with it, comes responsibilities too. So many people also misuse money... and it still kills of a population, or a generation.

  9.  @stefanosong9314  : The reason about Uyghurs, is that, when ROC took over China, it wanted to recognise the part that was genuinely Chinese. That is Han's China. There are maps out there which states "China proper" in English. It is the extension of the "Manchuria, Mongolia, and various other regions".. that PRC defined.. and I do not even know when CCP took control and was the status quo party to run the country. Cos that was not actually accepted and acknowledged by everybody.... And now, so called CCP acting as if they are the only single party of the entire country, acting part like a government department, and part like a... political party.. I do not know which.. It is like, those who have memberships... are learning on the job ??? So therefore, those regions... were actually part of their own civilisation, and does not belong to China. So as you can see... it is memberships of a group... they call themselves "CCP"... and by right of Western media's supports.. and those Western government's supports... Managed to actually bully those regions, and areas... Some of those regions, were actual mongolians, or descendents, or a mixed racial civilisation... If you read the history books, then you would know who these people are. It is this ignorant generation, and the so called "burn the books, revolution"... managed to bulldoze over those regions as well... One day, if those regions has arms... and guns... China will not be so funny doing what they are doing. Just one day... If Tibet also, is no longer.. "religious" and piety... and they held guns as well. Things shall change.

  15. Yang: I also want to share my perception too. I am also Hans chinese. (I presume that I am Hans, since I can count my family tree for at least 3 generation in HK, and then before that, it was supposed to be Dong Guan.) I was the first of my generation to be born (safe) in the UK, but I have been back to HK every year, as often as I could, to worship the graves of my ancestors. If it was not for the social media generation, I would not have gotten a much much deeper insight of China. Of who, of when, and of which... Who did what, and when. I now appreciate why so many people in HK supported the Nationalists. I do. I also think that Hans chinese should be supported too. I also do think that... those who had homes, and had heritages, should go back and rebuild their homes, and their heritages. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PqemIQiheJI THIS... this is a tv documentary, made from HK... about the previous descendents of the Hans, or those families during imperial rules. Those two clans.. that is their family-tree and their legacy. At least they did not cheat, nor lie, and nor bullied their way through.. Each generation is recorded. I hope that, the government, would also be like the British government, which is to find their own people, and rebuild back their own heritages... and live onwards. If you read the comments on that link.. so many moved abroad.. Is it not time to rebuild ? And to reunite and clean the old graves ?? Japan and South Korea managed well. Their rival families, never rival, but they merge, in order for another generation to survive. Why and how can this not be so in China ? So yes, there can be Manchurian/Mongol.. and then also Hans... So why do Hans not merge with Hans now. And Mongolians merge with Mongols ?? Those 56 tribes, in English , people assume that they are tribes. But in reality, in plain English, they are an entire family tree of people. This is why they are called a "clan". Even the Queen of England, married her second cousins. So why, do some countries do not do that ?? They should. When Harry married Megan... America rejoiced. Because she is also the grand daughter of a Lord. She is now welcomed home. I hope to see... in this village... Their previous mongolian rich relative, to save this town. This is what I hope for this town. I wish that, they would see and find their family... and live in more prosperous times. Not from the State... But from their families...

  19.  @nosignal7156  : First of all, you do not know that, the "West" carries the weight of the Mongolian Empire as well ? The "Hans chinese" or the so called "Middle Kingdom" is where all the Hans chinese congregated. The rest, were from the Mongolian Empire, which the PRC formed and tried to "integrate". By now.. I am guessing that, there are no more Hans chinese left in the country already. Some of the descendents of the Mongols, have gotten their own tribal land. And as for the finances, do you not know that, it is the hardworking slaves of the Hans chinese from the East Coast, who props up these tribes ??? Talk about favouritisms... ethnic tribes can do as they wish, and can prosper as they wish. They can have as many children as they wish. They can get subsidises from the government. Meanwhile, the remaining so called "capitalists" from the East Coast... including Hong Kong.. has to work very hard to make ends meet. Have to pay taxes, have to create a lot of things, to make things work and to go round... Even so many American companies, actually just trade and support China. If China did not join the WTO... The country would still be a nomadic tribe. Tell me, how could the country, grew from the Qing dynasty's of 300 million, to the current 1.7 billion ? Who has been not counting the figures correctly ???? To think I used to donate a lot of money as well.. to Sichuan.. I wish I never did. They live off grid and was in a sustainable tribe. The government should not try to integrate them into any capitalistic model. It is not sustainable !!! 1.7 BILLION !!!!!
