  1.  @misterhappy8682  : You may think that they are looking to sleep with you, and that you would pay them. But really, they are looking for a HUSBAND ! THAT is the point here.. and in the olden days.. there is no "prostitutes", this is true. Cos there are "concubines", meaning that, polygamy is a standard thing inside China. And even today, this has not entirely disappeared, I don't think. When HK was under British rule, there was no such a thing as polygamy, they managed to outlook it in the end. Even though some of the merchants, especially Ho Tung, was indeed a man with many wives. Maybe this kind of thing existed in the old Roman Empire.. but it certainly was abolished. Similar to China now. Multiple wives are not allowed. But somehow... "lineage" is kind of kept. I don't even understand this aspect of modern China. It was shown on China Insight. Especially that video of..."Father of 8 kids". He basically was a pimp.. and the fathers were the army people? I find that somewhat sickening, in all honesty. This is so low. Low of the low.
