It can depend on which city you go to. We used to have the Dutch...(which we have always had)... and they grow vegetables for us here in Sheffield.. and most restaurants used to use their veggies.. we have an airport that flies veg and fruits into the North... so the wholesalers sell to us.. and then local restaurants would go there and pick their best.. and cook etc. That had been a long way to get things going. It is when.. well... lots of overdevelopments now. People think that it was clever to build new high rises... that drove and collapsed the entire supply chains. So everything is now closed. Lots of internal loans.. bankrupt the entire town... and decimated it. Cos the council assumes that is the way to go? So over development happened.. and in a single fell swoop... that whole idea of "European project".. went under... and we collapsed.... People ran. After that. We consolidated our energy suppliers... and that went to Germany.... Even some odd houses.. still don't have good heating. But many houses went through an actual retrofitting piece.... So people kept going and going etc... Refitting each house etc etc etc... So.... And it boosted higher prices.. and those went under as well.. so this is why, we now have this big North and South divide.... as well.. and some bankrupcies are happening... A lot of people homeless... etc etc.. And running restaurants are no longer amenable... Some people should NOT have sold their houses... at all.. or anything. Cos they shouldn't have retrofitted to this high extent... Anyway... from a 1k house, turned into an expensive 160k. And the food is not even... it is not reasonable... so nobody buys it. At one point, people were trying to push for mortgages for the sake of mortgages... it is pointless. (A lot of councils are actually bankrupt.. and we basically serve the euro..... so yeh.. please don't complain an insult us though... cos even the colonial countries.. are now cramming into the UK too....) If we abolished the euro.. I won't cry. Sorry, but I won't... I still remember when Europe had their own individual currencies...

People are spending around 20 pound per meal.... so count yourself lucky. Some people literally eat biscuits for a single meal... for some people. But most of the time. People averages out. I try to do that too. Cos bad food is more accessible than decent and clean fruit and veg.

Could be when they had the oil or the fish frozen businesses.. and now it is in decline... A lot of people are similar across the UK too... So...

@dantesparda7719 : It depends on areas.. and it is calculated by transport costs....

Well... this is a hopeful video... Fish from Scotland... Faroe Island.. and Norway are processed here. This is more like it... No wonder I could get access to some decent F&C on my delivery app. I hope that they don't frozen them... but we should get some decent fresh fish. Love that they now have green energy as well.... Fantastic... I hope that they have green energy.... And then also.... to do processing... (and quickly sell to us, like in Sheffield !!! lol....)...... And not necessarily sold to the supermarkets. But sell to direct restaurants. That would be great. :) We used to have fantastic dim sums here in Sheffield.. using fresh fish from our local fish mongers !..... I also hope that they would grow a hatcheries as well.. like most seaports do. Even if we don't consume that here in the UK. We should sell them abroad too. Cos the US does it.. so does Norway.... So.... "Look after yourself first... and then look after others. So.... "

Sell your houses... to the council... and then let council renovate them.. and turn them green, before releasing it back for living... And then, if those who claim benefits... If there is a child trust fund as well.. that secures the next generation. Energy first.... housing first, and let that be rented back or whatever... keep it net zero... And then earn.. on the seafood side. Even if it is exercises.... So..... That is a better future surely isn't it ?...

Some people up North have around 2-3 generation living under a single roof.. and then actually have 2 to 3 incomes.. compounded to survive... and not a single household etc.. So... Not like some people who have around 3 to 4 kids... even foreigners, who haven't paid into the system. And then get stuck. Lots of people even from such families now doesn't dare marry either ! I know so many India families that doesn't.... and jobs aren't there either. So....

I did say that chinese are wealthy, but they would not believe us.... you see these buildings.. they are old buildings.. and yet.. China built all the new buildings under the past 30 to 50 years... And even though your salary is not as high, what you pay for... for the quality is already a lot higher? And yet, you guys complain complain complain.... always. And yet.. so many overseas' chinese, from the previous generation literally ran take aways or restaurants and also bought your silly pickled vegetables, so that you could stay off the farms... and build... and now... the amount of online harassments and comments... They are just.. unbelievable... Cos in truth.. after you have seen this video... Why don't you find ways to support us back ? Give us back some businesses or other... Why not import fish sauces or whatever direct from Grimsby ?? Just like people would buy oyster sauces?..... I don't see that happening. It would be good if they kept some sheeps as well.. and farmed something... and then use those wools to make their own local clothings... or other... So...

3 pound F&C.. that is pretty nice.. lol.... It's more expensive in the inlands... and we're struggling now too. Despite it being more urbanised now. So.... The city centre is entirely gone now.
