I will say this much. Amazon is trying to be the global distribution centre. But to be fair, this is NOT possible. You HAVE to have a form of supply-chain. Food is one of the most important thing, which cannot actually be tampered or to be.... how to say... "Farm to plate" is important. This is absolutely important. If we are overproducing food... then this is another issue, but people should not be eating bad food... There needs to be a lot more analysis, in shortening the supply-chains, and we must NOT supply over supply.

@theghostofspookwagen4715 : The same can be said of Vietnamese or Asian food in the UK too. It is seen as an "upmarket" thing to do. Just that people do a lot of it. The very frugal people, just eat a sandwich for a simple meal. Not even vegetables, or meat. Some just eat a cheese sandwich. Many people will cook a single chicken, and then split it across several meals thorough the week. This is how frugal people really are. Now I do agree that, in the West, we have gone too extreme. i.e. Too frozen. Too manufactured. Too excessive production... A lot of people now ask for fresh food and fruits delivery these days.

And most of it, are basically from bankrupt companies and state companies.... for an elevated price.. using precious US dollars !!! As I said before.. I worked hard and saved money only to be charged to buy a mobile phone, which costs me around half a million yuan.... You will be scared by my answer. If the main WIFI is cut off... some of those devices itself, may have a chip or not. And that they could, literally be connected to the satelite and auto-dials... So.... Some gadgets, are be remotely activated ??? .... Like, some of the apps that is currently being downloaded at the moment onto your android phone. It can wake up the recorder and remotely record your conversation. This kind of technique have always existed any way. But the government takes a lot of steps to secure things out... but here we go again... There did not used to be so many gadgets in the world. But now, there are too many. And there did not used to be so many satelites in the world. But now, every major country has one? And yes, if you step foot on their territories then...

Outsider of these high value countries doesn't know that, most of us, have "been there, done that".. and lost a lot of businesses already too. So now, trying to aim for this kind of "revolution" doesn't make sense. Sure.. it needs more people.. but you forget how they made their own wealth to begin with. When the economies declined.. you didn't see it. So the governments would regroup.. in hope that you would stay TO rebuild.. but judging that first post.. ARE YOU... "rebuilding" ? Because of global fraud as well... many countries now control their own money. No more between countries any more. Cos there had been so many scams. So... this is why so many countries now have their own version of things. Everybody knows that India uses gold... and money.. Not cards. Or ebanking. I don't think it is save, in all honesty. But it is always backed by a bank. A POS is not a payment thing. POS is the system to calculate your business' finances. This is not personal money. Using the way that you described is basically transferring from person to person. Not person to business. Which it SHOULD do. Person > business > Indian Tax office. The way you are describing.. is classified as what the UK call as money laundering. Actually. Most people uses this method when they sell second hand goods. Not goods made from scratch.

McDonald should really create a sub-brand and enter that "restaurant" market, and create something a bit more either European, or American formal restaurant. As in, a lot more upmarket. Kind of similar to Cheesecake factories. If you do that, then maybe the Vietnamese people will think "hm... this is worth my money"... to have something which they cannot get so easily within Vietnam. So weird that these people don't know how to market...

No wonder my cost of living is so high. We used to have local different ones here within the UK. Switch. Maestro. Solo. etc etc etc... And then... everything collapsed... And we used to have AEs as well here or Diner's Card.. which we used to take as well. McDonalds used to be the "foreign" food, once upon a time. But yes... it can be a lot better, I admit. I think there is a lot that can change, and to be changed... I do like HK's McDonald's "ice tea". That was a time whereby, ice tea was not available in the form of Vitasoy... So... people should be grateful now. Cos it was the Western companies that tapped into the supply-chains and bring those items to you ! Talk about ungratefulness.... One day, when that supply chain ends. Then do not cry. With McD, it was also the availability of the breakfast items that can be served all day as well ? I love that. Cos in the UK you cannot get that except breakfast time. And then their toys as well... It did used to be a lot better. And HK tried a lot of trends as well... and they started and dropped and started and dropped.. til now.. nobody cares any more. LOL... Even I am not too funny about things. Cos not many places are that nice any more. People just want the money, but they don't want the efforts. The end of that.

Remember one thing. Zuckerface married a Chinese woman. And in China, you buy real estates... so.. my guess is that, this will become an actual "user driven manufacturing", which they want to build, and attack it into factories and tap into China. In Europe.. we have something similar too. Maestro... or Switch. The problem is not the protocols.. or whatever.. the problems.. is fraud. Either those who works in the bank, make mistakes, or deliberately make mistakes. Or even deregulation just swept away an actual bank itself. @twlee1930 : Brazil uses bitcoins.. or those form of mechanisms... and as much as it looks high tech... It doesn't go through the US system at all. Or any other major country and part of their system either. And they do not swap currencies. What Brazil has literally done, is basically tapped into the chinese system.. and as much as it looks good... There are also downfalls as well... Switzerland also has great banking systems too. And does not use biometric datas or anything of the sorts. So it does not "detect" you.... HK used to have finger printing too... for a long time. But then again. People were not intrusive ? And now ? You can get your finger ID cloned.. and all sorts... Why ? Cos those who used to work for the banks now have left the banks.. and basically built their own businesses... That is because the French was once upon a time, a coloniser of the country. So therefore, what is left over is some of the upmarket French cuisine. Similar to HK. You will still find some British food left in HK. (But of course, it is also now, inundated with very bad and sad... SE Asian cafes and food. even the locals have LEFT already ! THAT is what HK has turned into. A bit of a hell hole...even the Portugese curries are already bastardised too. And Thai food isn't Thai food really. Normally, you kind of expect to find external food to that location to be a high end one, but sadly, the local foods are local SE Asian food. The high end, are more European food. Import/export etc. ) The remaining market is possibly a very niche area to try.. like American smoked food. Or Scandinavian pickled food, and maybe things like strawberries from England. Or clotted cream etc. The fact that these places can get such international food just says how saturated the market is already is. Only in the UK do McD makes it really, cos it is still typical European food. When it comes to bread.. SE Asia went down the dessert route... and left over with the soda bread and the grainary bread in the UK. Doubt that it will take off in Asia.

Why don't they develop "robot beds".... so that homeless people can get from destination from A to B... without actually compromising and not able to actually find the office or help or those government locations ??? Cos frankly, what is happening, is extremely quite actually disgusting? We ARE wiping out actual individuals... and families... and money as well... At least have a central "government hub for homeless"... to deal with or other.
