@bikerchrisukk : If you work for the public, whether it is MPs, or whether it is town council, local councils, NHS... many of these areas are actually quite regulated, and structured? Even despite you are not allowed, you can indeed to say that to the person. And it is also in your duty as well ? So... why would there need to be this council? So this council was created, cos some people must've broken the rules.. and reshuffling is what the government often do. But surely, if this dept is created, then you would literally just be clear of your position, right ?.... So.... Even if you are an MP... and that there are companies that are donating... SHOULD your party get the money? There should've been an actual ethic member, or somebody within the party to guard this, surely? Cos right now... surely, the citizens are being let down? Anyway, I am sure that this is all a facade, because with the internet and the social media... It is a news selling point, isn't it ? But the thing is, citizens' position should be protected... more and more people do not see the wood for the trees... If this interview exists, then it means that something has changed in the constitution hasn't it ?....

I think you don't even know half of this... Did you know that Uber is a media company too ? Not a taxi firm app. Or technology company. That MP mentioned about the media.. he has an issue about that... But he has no qualms about Uber media taking British citizens' data and selling it, without knowledge or consent... Isn't this considered as stealing ? If it is... Then why aren't they involved in these cases ? If you are a media company, then should you NOT be actually following media laws ?

These MPs need to know that, if this was any other employees of any other companies. They would have been sacked already. Not to have 2 jobs and a side open expense account. And on many levels, as citizens , as company owners, we are not doing ourselves any justice either. Cos we saved the banks.. and now are experiencing this big squeeze.

Well, switch it over into the other side of the argument then... when City of London was not regulated and globalised in its current structure, which company, could release the fund and put such "gifts" (they are stocks and inventories) to any other "clients" of the company? Who would dare to release this and let it be signed off here? How come so many directors, and company directors today, ACT like Sole Traders??? Why do they do this ? Where is that ethic of being a company's secretary (WHO should be the budget holder, and stop you on your track to begin with).... and keeping your company from being in disrepute ?? I do not get why so many people do NOT literally know how to run a company. And what shares do they issue, and who guarantees their money or their loans ? Do you see the confusion of today's so called globalised world ? THIS falls into those grey areas of money-laundering... that also includes SME business holders too in the UK. In the current world that we live in, the worst one is actually the media sector. Media and finance. Those two have never played by the rule book.

So maybe they are paying for this fines, and this is why and how come we are still getting money for our resources ! The question is, "should we" ? Cos at some point.. the issue of soveignty is going to raise its ugly head again. To be paid less than we deserve, or to really stand up and hold ourselves accountable. The trick is very simple. Each time you use Uber, the more poorer you become. But if you do not use it. Then .. that money should come back to your own salary. Who do you want that money to go to ? Just all connected into one single entity or global market. Well... when Apple cut off their security features to stop "advertisements"... other companies' media analytics fell dramatically. Uber Technologies annual net income for 2019 was $-8.506B, a 953.16% decline from 2018. 8 BILLION Angela... ask yourself, why you are "poor" ? I am definitely going to buy that 1 pound something Private Eye ! Goodness me ! I had no idea it was still so cheap. I still recall when papers went up to and around 1 pound per week. And now into the 2 pound per week. And now into the 4 pound for a cup of coffee !!! My weekly shop only used to be 10 pounds !

Then why don't you think about the framework to begin with? So yes.. he has a second job... but then again.... if you are working for a second party, then where does your salary go into? Shouldn't the flow go round in a circle? So you are the public servant,...as well as the private worker as well... and yes, you may pay taxes... Then, don't the MP look like an authoritarian person in government from the eyes of the poor members of society? Cos 1) they are not the person who has those high salaries. 2) They cannot afford and go along their own lives, because frankly... they are not sitting in those jobs? Right?? So ... are you just "changing the laws, to serve myself" ???? Eh ? Then why even have a political tier ?!!?!..... The problem is also that... the hiring of "good" jobs, often need you to have XYZ qualifications as well. So therefore, the unqualified individuals are often screened out to begin with. So the skilled often goes into the political tier. And then the unskilled, are often left over to do actual manual jobs? So the manual jobs people should and ought to get the government contracts, but oh no.. in recent years, they went to "corporate types".... (So, rather than actually support local family firms, they are left out in the cold?).... So you can see why people are trapped into doing criminal setups, don't you? Only in recent years were the so called "apprenticeships" were emphasized obviously, and in recent years, did the so called "part time"... roles, and that they are now based on a "charity model"... Those info that they have said... is something which I disputed before on LinkedIn, before I was kicked out. So yeh... sure... AI is indeed kicking in somewhat...

@sookibeulah9331 : Isn't there a conflict of interests here once you stand, and therefore, can never truly go back to your profession? Most don't. So.. it is a case of, you cannot get any higher into your profession, and then stand, til you retire. And when you are done. You can do something still related to public office? Or, as most do, go into the charity sector, to cushion.

@domward8352 : I think why, you and me are reading the news paper here, is that... if these kind of relationship is built, say... then what role does an actual "media" sector has on the country's politics? Now... there is already the "social media" (a check on the mainstream media? And yet, these medias are also corrupt too, in the sense that they are advertising driven and not even market driven)... So therefore, what is the actual truth ?.... If indeed you are supposed to rely on your MP's feedback, or their policies and campaign details. So what Hislop is saying in this case that, he KNOWS he has actual competition as well.. in his media sector, and he can see that, HE has no leg to stand on any more either... that is why he is protesting or sitting in that meeting room really.

@dharmaqueen : I still remember when working in the public sector that I have to sign out for each pen I take from the stationary cupboard, if not, otherwise then I would be in trouble with my manager. Same with the dress codes. I was so upset, when I managed enough pay to buy a muji pen to encourage myself to work harder, only for the consulting company's pm to steal it !

@saberking7869 : Back in the days, when we have an entire set of businesses in London that was listed. No graduates would be without a job. You would be hired. In fact, if there is no right fit... A new position would be created and reshuffling will happen etc. From those managing days to the current globalisation chaos ? Are you kidding me ? And now, we are being played here in the UK, when we allow an Uber driver.. to earn below minimum wage... and indirectly raising the cost of food prices which is actually FARMED here ! What.. so it is okay to.... pay 20% for the farmer, 30 % for the establishment and 50% for that "marketing/media/app company " ?!?!?!?!!!!!.... No !! It should NOT ! I can walk down the road to get it from the farm ! Not this way! My chicken is only 4 pound. But my app costs is like another 6 pound ?!!?

You are only seeing this session which is, and should be private to the masses outside of the UK... is because Google actually is the public cloud service provider. By no means that means that, other foreigners could access British politics, and that they can harm us. Without actually being criminalised. It is good that Ian say this, because he is a paper publisher. Not a technology publisher.. and other countries, don't even lock down these info.. and do not even stop censoring these info, or to curb their own tech companies from broadcasting this kind of thing?!!?!!..... These kind of things which they are discussing is nothing new ! One should be able to actually read their own employment contract, and handbook, and literally internalise this !!!
