  5.  @FastJetPerformance  Young people aren't bothered by gender politics or any of the other culture war issues. The older generations are more likely to be outraged by those issues. The youth are more likely not to be joining the military due to the poor pay (along with the rest of the public sector) and working conditions.

Young people don't care about the gender someone identifies as, the amount of melanin in their skin, people's belief systems etc. They care about not being able to buy a home and having a secure job. A career in the military is not going to be able to provide that. The culture wars are the age old tactic of divide and rule. Why do you think this is the tactics of the government and their super wealthy donors?
