It makes absolutely no medical sense to have organ transplantation in order to “live longer”….Not only is the surgery, itself, an extreme assault on the body (with a relatively high mortality rate), but, due to the necessity of high-dose immunosuppressant therapy for life post-transplant, the patient’s immune system is significantly compromised (the odds of dying from what in a healthy person would be a passing illness are not insignificant)…. I have long believed that the “CCP-LEADERS-REGULARLY-HAVE-ORGAN-TRANSPLANTS” story is largely urban myth. No one, in his right mind, would undergo such an extreme & risky procedure unless he truly had no other option (I.e. Kidney/Liver failure)….
