Japanese personal security guards—the worst I’ve ever seen……it took them FAR too long to react.

Literally, a 360 degree difference in US command structure & the PLA….US ARMY, for instance, encourages individual Officer initiative (and it’s a rare Commander who doesn’t defer to a subordinate officer’s opinion—when that subordinate is on the ground, and sees problems for his troops in following his original orders)….

Problem is, you can’t fight—let alone, win—a war, when leaders on the ground are required to “call in” for “permission” from a senior, prior to making critical decisions in fast-moving situations ……

Mandarin always sounds like nasal grunting to me (I believe it’s even harder on the ear than German is :)

….Just wish the general Chinese character wasn’t so obedient/fearful—and just a bit more defiant….It often strains credulity that human beings would tolerate so much abuse (starvation, dictates on family size, criminal-like surveillance, lack of basic freedoms) without “rising up”…. ….I’m a historian, and can rattle off the top of my head DOZENS of rebellions by an unarmed populace against their rulers & the ruler’s entire army…Uprisings in which most know they will likely die—but do it for future generations ….The Chinese show no inclination to do so—seeming to prefer to “run away,” rather than fight for change from within….

Think you’re forgetting the Australians—who have fought in every action the US has been in ; the UK (with a record only slightly behind Australia); and, of course, the Ukrainian Military ….As for “Afghanistan,” theirs can hardly be considered a “military,” given their “clan over country” loyalties, and their very odd notions over what constitutes a military “target”…. No military force in their right minds would work with the Afghans…

Weasely, little cowards…

And just what makes you so certain that such reporting isn’t factual? …Lord, spare me from the “My Team is Always Right” ideology (which is what you cling to—as your ONLY criticism of the reporting was that it came from supposed “Right-wing” sources)…. Btw—Falun Gong is NOT “Right-wing.” It is a quasi-religious form of meditation —period. It’s members span the political spectrum

No. “Crazy” Are the Little Pinks, like you (who shamelessly USE Western resources—like the computer you’re typing on & YouTube—to spread propaganda you would NEVER be able to do in Xi-Land)

….And, Yeah, Professor Martínez has (many times) the expertise of the hacks (and self-interested hacks, at that) at “Goldman-Sachs, Bloomberg, etc.”….As for his “resume” : I’d compare it to yours—or mine—any day of the week (and 2x on Sunday)….

Excellent editing done by the program editor (I love Lei—but she does have a habit of running off on tangents when she’s answering questions—but, in this interview, they cut out her “tangents,” making her answers very smooth)….

How WEAK & INSECURE China must be to PAY tens of thousands of keyboard warriors to go on Western sites other Chinese cannot—and leave negative comments…… Pathetic. 😂

@MayaMatrixMuktiManifestor ….Yes….But….I think if you look more closely into the backgrounds of those CEOs, you will find that they hardly differ from that of Chinese Princelings ( in that they came from privileged backgrounds, or at the very least, attended private schools ) One of India’s most critical issues to tackle is its public education system—which is poor (by any standards) — or often, nonexistent….Modi has neglected education reforms at his country’s future peril……

Don’t understand why the CCP wouldn’t destroy that boulder….?
