BOTH of these ppl are “nightmare passengers “ ( as a flight attendant, I KNOW the type)….When the flight attendant asked her the first time not to “slam” the lavatory door—she said she “just looked at him,” and didn’t say anything (major aggression)….No, a first-class flight attendant (which I am) would NEVER escalate like this without good reason. This woman doesn’t have a chip—but a boulder—on her shoulder.

She failed it at least once (documented) — and didn’t pass it until a year after her initial attempt ( a delay which is extremely unusual, as the candidate is not penalized for failures; most take the next scheduled exam—which is offered every 3 months)….Although Harris’ records after her initial failure are “not available,” it is possible that she took the exam an additional 3 times before passing…. Also often overlooked is Harris’ undergraduate institution: she attended an HBCU (and, while providing a decent education, entrance requirements are notoriously lax—certainly not as competitive as most State universities—never mind the Ivies)….During an era when a Black woman with just decent grades might have had her choice of Ivy League schools, I’ve long believed that Harris’ H.S. grades were likely not “up to par,” either….
