That’s NOT what he said. He said that “attacks” on wanted individuals in other countries are allowed only under the “Unable or Unwilling Doctrine” — which refers to : A) Countries that have non-functioning, incompetent, corrupt or absent criminal justice systems ( thus, are “unable” to comply with international law/rulings regarding apprehending a wanted terrorist in their country…..or B) Countries that are actively hostile to international laws & rulings, refuse to follow legal norms, and who protect terrorists…. NEITHER situation applies to the U.S. (or to 93% other countries in the world )

“Defend” themselves from what? You DO know that Lebanon started lobbing missiles @ Israel beginning Oct 7 — and hasn’t stopped since?

@joshbobst1629 It doesn’t apply to the U.S. because we have a functioning justice & penal system. ** The law you refer to was passed to prevent extradition requests from countries that technically qualify as having functioning justice systems — but ones which might show extreme bias toward certain categories of defendants, such as terrorists ( Islamic countries, to be exact, which might regard convicted terrorists as “freedom fighters” rather than criminals—and acquit )
