I’ve spent 1/2 of my working life in Japan (all 9 years of it :) ! ….They are a wickedly BRILLIANT people—and FUN 🎉 I’d argue with several of your conclusions : Young ppl can leapfrog their seniors if they have special skills (in my case, that meant speaking Japanese better than most natives—making me valuable representing my firm with European & American partners….As for their “anti-immigrant” bias, that doesn’t really apply to Europeans & Americans—I know many that have taken Japanese citizenship ….you just need employer sponsorship :)

Oh….You should visit, at least! I’ve spent 1/2 my working life there (all 9 years of it :)…,Japanese are wickedly brilliant (and, unlike the Chinese, they’re FUN)🎉…..Never have so much fun as when I’m restaurant-hopping with friends in Osaka 💫

@hanfucolorful9656 “The last time???” Uh….10:15 pm, EDT—via China’s favorite method: TECHNOLOGY THEFT 😂

If “the French” are the only EU country opposing these deals, than “Suck it up, Buttercup”—the French are free not to consume those products….What angers me most about French selfishness in this area is what that greediness does TO those developing countries (keeping hundreds of thousands in poverty who, if such trade deals were passed, could actually have halfway-decent lives)….But, hey, THE FRENCH know BEST….

….Wake up. “Visualeconomiks” has a new, Chinese Sugar Daddy.

This vid is embarrassing—containing just enough “criticisms” of China for the content creators to plausibly claim that they simply hold a unique opinion on China’s current economic standing & future prospects — while relentlessly “polishing” the Sino-Apple… Both the overblown claims (“A GIANT of SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY”…”LEADING the WEST in many sectors”….”Overtaking all future competitors”) and the frequent (unsubstantiated ) insinuations of future “greatness” have a strong smell of CCP propaganda to them ( and THIS sub, at least, has a strong suspicion that this vid was bought & paid for by its subject )….

😂😂😂😂

They can kiss the China goodies goodbye—American sentiment against “Made in China” has become too strong…,

I’m not buying it. This vid smells like it was made with the help of a lot of ¥

They aren’t. ( This vid was the result of a very large Patreon donation in ¥ )
2
No — it “feels” like it was the result of a large Patreon donation in ¥
2
( Major, new Patreon donor : makes his donations in ¥ )

….Hardly a “Great” agricultural power 😂

That’s the point : in a democracy, you don’t have to “dig.” You can pull up reams of data—all open source ( not jealously controlled & manipulated by one, vain & incompetent egomaniac )
1
Sssssshhh! ( You’ll upset VE’s new, Chinese Sugar Daddy who’s paying the bills )….
1
…..Not with the advances in synthetic rare earths :)
1
BINGO. ( Major Patreon donations pouring in in ¥ )….It’s so obvious—and so at odds with the predictions of more competent economists—it’s difficult to reach any other conclusion….( That—and the fact that their pro-China vids “magically” have hundreds of China bots upvoting & leaving “positive” comments within an hour of uploading….)

Hahaha….😂

@bcdaron ….As all produce is clearly LABELED as to country of origin, the imaginary “problem” you refer to is easily solved by simply NOT BUYING produce you deem to be “beneath” your culinary standards…. And it isn’t S America I’m referring to, but AFRICAN countries (whose governments have LONG complained about EU protectionism vis-a-vis shutting out their small farmers)….The “reasons” you give are rubbish (as the vast majority of small African farmers have been growing healthy produce for centuries—usually without the use of pesticides)….It is simple, naked protectionism & selfishness which causes FRANCE (once again) to place its epicurean palates ahead of improving the lives of the desperately poor….

In a country with such a heavy-handed leader, neither “R” nor “D” stand a chance. Innovation & independence are not rewarded in such a society—but condemned & punished….China will continue to lag the West—despite the (industrial-size) tech theft they constantly engage in ….Soon, they won’t even be able to steal anymore, as the West cuts them OUT.

Bureaucracy—the BIGGEST KILLER of COMMUNISM/SOCIALISM

**VE’S SMARMY TONE BEGINS TO IRRITATE (ACTUALLY, U DON’T KNOW BETTER)**

….Speak for yourself (the REST of us are sick & tired of their stealing everything the West doesn’t “glue down”)….It takes quite the cheek to steal the toil of other men—then “pass it off” as your own
1
Yes…..World’s maker of really cheap rubbish…
1
No, “other countries” are running away from China ( and your crazy leader ) as fast as they can

Uh-oh….Mickey Molars strikes again :)
