Other than N Korea (whose ppl have been so isolated from any contact with the outside world, they really cannot be compared to any modern country), I cannot think of another country’s citizens that would just “take” the scale of abuse that the Chinese ppl have : The starvation of 1/4 of the entire population in the mid-50s; murdering millions of the educated & those deemed insufficiently “Red” during the 60s Cultural Revolution; Tiannamen Square/persecution of the Falon Gan/organ harvesting beginning in the 80s; forced abortion/ “1-Child Policy” - also 80s; implementation of the massive State surveillance system/murder & persecution of the Tibetan ppl - 90s;….persecution of the Oighers….disappearing dissidents….welding ppl in their apartments/3-yr lockdowns/enforced 3x-weekly Covid testing….organ harvesting of scholarship students….”Points-based” citizenship system….Enforced “175 surveillance cameras per square block….and on & on, 2000s…. Yeah, my original comment stands : Human sheep.
